As you'd expect from such a beautiful hotel spa, the Vital Health and Wellbeing club is luxury itself, with a spa that offers the opportunity to chill out in some style and have a treatment from spa favourites Decleor, or a fantastic, glamorous Jessica manicure. Out of This World My friend and I decided to have a girly night spa at Linden after a not so good pregnancy and labour. We thought that the girly weekend package was outstanding value. The food was beautiful, rooms were very clean, and the spa area was wonderful with staff going out of their way to make your stay worthwhile. Treatments were amazing also. We left Linden feeling very relaxed and refreshed. After my 3rd time at Linden I\'m sure I will be returning. Thank you for a great weekend. Not very relaxing Whilst the treatments were as they should be, the overall spa experience was not very relaxing due to the fact that after the first treatment, I had to get dressed to go to the onsite pub for the inclusive lunch. After lunch, I had to change again into my robe for the next set of treatments.Lovely staff but nothing like my first visit there a few years ago - no good if you want to spend a day chilling and relaxing. Marvellousness personified This day was exactly what I needed. The staff could not have been more helpful. I was given a tour. Given a list of treatment times. Then left to my own devices. I swam, sauna-ed, steam room-ed, had treatments, a glorious 2 course lunch with a glass of wine and chilled water. A wonderful chilling day. Marvellousness personified. Well done all concerned. Absolutely fantastic! This was bought as a surprise Christmas present from my boyfriend and I attended with my friend (who also received the same present from her boyfriend).My first impression of the spa was that it was extremely calm and serene and very professional. The staff were very polite and friendly but also had extensive knowledge of the products used and each treatment performed. The manicure and pedicure were very nicely done and I found the facial and back massage extremely relaxing and beneficial for my skin.The lunch menu had lots of variety and being a vegetarian, I found it a refreshing change to be provided with various options which looked very tasty.All in all, I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience and would definitely not hesitate in recommending this to anyone. Hen Do Spa I ARRANGED THIS SPA DAY FOR MY FRIENDS HEN DO FOR 10 OF US. IT WAS A GREAT DEAL AND TURNED OUT EVEN BETTER WHEN WE GOT THERE. IT COST �85 EACH, THE HOTEL AND SPA WERE AMAZING AND IT INCLUDED TEA/COFFEE AND CAKE ON ARRIVAL, USE OF THE SPA, 2 TREATMENTS (FROM A CHOICE OF 7-8), A AND 2 COURSE LUNCH WITH A FREE DRINK. Enjoyable Day but disappointed with facilities We booked a lovers day spa day for our 2nd anniversary and chose the venue for its history, we found ourselves comparing to Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire and the Linden Hall facilities are way behind that of Thoresby. The day was enjoyable and the treatments were amazingly relaxing and friendly staff made the day for us both. The spa area needs to be bigger it is a small pool with a jacuzzi and a small steam and sauna room = the day had a mix of approx. 10 people and that is its maximum = we suggest more relaxing areas other than around the pool which is limited seating area and when you break for lunch its a pain to have to get dressed again and walk to the onsite restaurant and bar - unlike other locations where you can just wear your robe and swimwear whilst taking lunch.
