Relaxing getaway for two The experience was very good, the spa was excellent! It was clean warm friendly with complementary towels and robes (although the robes were a tad on the small size) the treatments were exactly what we wanted and we were able to have them together which was a big plus for us. We will definitely return soon for a relaxing weekend stay. |

Very Disappointing I have just returned from an overnight stay at this hotel and am very disappointed with the overall service and facilities on offer. Although the staff were friendly and pleasant I found the spa centre to be basic and lacked the professionalism expected from a spa. The choice of food available in the restaurant is limited and the quality very poor. The hotel is set in lovely grounds but looks tired and dated. I would be reluctant to return to or recommend this hotel |

Hen Do Weekend Spa Lovely location and great staff. However when we went there was no spa manager so things were a little disorganised. The duty manager dealt with our concerns well and we enjoyed an amazing evening meal. Would highly recommend - the only thing it is missing is a hot tub/Jacuzzi |

Relaxing good value Overall very good. The staff, accommodation and food were excellent. The only slight issue being that there were children\'s swimming lessons taking place just at the time we wanted to relax around the pool, so we missed out on that particular aspect of the break.Asked for an alarm call next morning and reception fogot, leaving us to lie in, but miss breakfast. Not a problem, reception staff apologised and sent a full English breakfast up to our room within minutes. Therefore no complaints. |

lava love treat day I bought the spa day as a treat for my cousin’s birthday & we managed to spend most of the day there, we had a swim in the pool with complimentary robes & towels. Lunch & a glass of wine was included in the deal I bought & although the lunch was simple (a sandwich) it was very nice & came with crisps & salad. We had a complimentary cappuccino coffee & although slightly late starting our treatments they didn\'t cut corners to gain back the time. The treatments were a 1 hour body massage & a 30 mins head message both of which were very relaxing & enjoyable. If there are any minus points it was that I had to remind staff a lunch was included with our offer & I had to remind them they hadn\'t brought our wine with our lunch but neither of these small errors marred what was an enjoyable day & a great \'girls time\' treat. The staff are really friendly too |

really enjoyable break Stayed here as a 50th birthday gift for my sister in law, booking in was very quick, 1st room was a bit cold but we were offered another room immediately by reception, no problem. All staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, we were even give free drinks with our meal and a free desert because the 2nd room was not an executive room like the 1st room that we had booked, but it was still a very nice and comfortable room. Both treatments were really nice, we had the back massage on the 1st day which was so relaxing, and the facial on the 2nd, this was lovely, the pool, sauna and steam room were all very nice, pool was a little bit cold but that’s just being picky because there is nothing else negative to say. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a spa break, and really hope to go back soon. |

Very well looked after Very nice experience in a modern, relaxing and clean setting surrounded by nice grounds. Therapists were lovely and treatments were well delivered and good value for money. Lovely relaxation room to use before and after treatments, also outside patio area to use if weather permits. We were also very well looked after by the member of staff who was serving us tea, coffee and cakes (we could have as many refreshments throughout the day as we wished). Lunch was simple but nice, one course and a drink included, dessert or fruit was extra. Spa doesn\'t have larger size robes so if you\'re anything above say an 18, you\'ll spend all day trying to hold the robe together which is a shame. All in all a very nice day, would certainly recommend. |
