Botley Park spa day Service of staff was excellent however overall hotel was extremely cold. Apparently heating has been turned down to save money, this is not conducive to lounging around. Even the pool was cold. |

Great day! 9 of us had the pampered hens spa day,staff very friendly and helpful. Overall day was really good and relaxed. Pleased with treatments, (couple of us bit disappointed with manicure we had though) lunch was really good and lovely sat outside by golf course. Would definitely visit again:) |

Overall enjoyable When arriving at the spa the staff where friendly and helpful, although when sat down and presented with menu\'s for lunch the staff forgot to mention that in our Pampered Hens Package we actually had a light lunch included. If i had not remembered this and asked about the staff were going to charge us for lunch, having said that the food we did order was of a very good quality and very filling.Unfortunately when went into the pool/spa area i was very disappoint to find that the Jacuzzi had been removed (even though this is still advertised on the site) & that the pool temperature in the swimming was absolutely freezing. This meant that neither myself or any of our party, including the bride to be, were able to swim. This was really disappointing as a large part of selecting this spa resort had been due to the complete facilities it offered - Jacuzzi and a heated swimming pool to use. |

Don't waste your money I went to Botley Park for my mums 50th birthday and had spent a lot of money. The receptionist Dawn was so so helpful from the day i bought the vouchers to the day we went there. Had a lovely swim and sauna (needs updating as it looked very tired) I was looking forward to the treatments as i am a therapist myself and don't get them very often at all. The therapist i had, had long fake nails and could feel them all the way through my treatment and she kept talking to me. The massage was lovely - i just didn't appreciate the scratch marks) The therapist didn't even do my cuticles in my manicure. The lunch however was amazing! I was very disappointed because i had spend a lot of money on this spa day for my mums birthday. |

Not bad at all Took my girlfriend for our first anniversary. Enjoyed the hotel and the facilities very much. The only down side was they over booked their treatments that weekend so my girlfriend and I had to move our treatment time back two hours and have our treatments at separate times, leaving each of us hanging around on our own for an hour each. They did give us a free drink whilst we awaited the other though. |

Relaxing Service and helpfulness of treatment staff was very good, but I noticed a few cobwebs at ceiling level that should not have been there - when reclining one\'s eyes do tend to wander upwards. I was surprised that there was no map showing the facilities, and how to find them. It was a full day before I realised that there was a pool, and it took longer to find out where the entrance was. I was also surprised that there were not any \'Healthy Eating\' options in the hotel restaurant. As a diabetic trying to lose weight this was important to me. |

Fantastic day with extras A seperate lounge is provided for your party (there were 12 of us) which is where lunch is served. Upon arrival tea and coffe was available. A tour of the facilities came next, with robes, slippers and towls given to each member of the party. Lunch is a choice of 3 courses, with an excellent choice. Jugs of water and orange juice were provided at lunch. we ate ion our robes - very relaxing. Treatments started after lunch with a choice of 2 out of 4 treatments. I voted for the facial and massage - amazing. The girls who had the manicure and pedicure also raved about the quality of products used and the final result. Tea and coffee was provided again mid afternoon along with a spectacular surprise of chocolate fountains marshmellows, fruit and mini doughnuts. Although this was an extra provided by the hotel as a surprise for my hen day, as was a sparkling bottle of wine to toast over lunch. My day was so special, I coudn't have asked for anything more from the staff. |

fantastic, amazing, perfect. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were impressed, it was gorgeous and the staff were friendly and welcoming. When we got to the spa we were given our robes and flip-flops which was the only negative thing for me as being a larger lady the robe did not fit! Luckily I had envisaged this and brought my own with me from home. We then went to the most amazing relaxation room to await our therapists. The treatments were so relaxing that I actually dozed off at the end of my facial. The therapists were extremely friendly yet totally professional, the rooms clean, tidy and beautifully lit. We used the sauna, steam room and then had a gentle swim in the pool which again all were perfect, our light lunch that was included in our package was better than expected, I would definitely recommend the spa and the hotel as our experience was one of pure relaxation and we will definitely be back. |
