Beautifully located in 30 acres of Surrey countryside, the lovely Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa is worth an overnight stay if you get a chance.
The Amama Spa takes its inspiration from Queen Nefertiti, and centres around the concepts of peace and tranquillity, all packaged into a relaxing spa visit.
The spa uses Elemis products to pamper you and the menu is pretty exhaustive...once you've had enough of being spoiled (if you can ever have enough) in the beauty rooms, head off and try the 16m swimming pool, steam room, sauna, whirlpool or the fabulously invigorating cold temple shower.

Relaxing and delicious! have never been to any spa before our 2 night visit but I would definitely go back to Lythe Hill again. Having read through some of the reviews here (that appeared after the trip was booked) I was a bit apprehensive, but I needn’t have worried. Everything was wonderful. The room was fair-sized, clean and comfortable (with a beautiful view). The spa itself was perfect, lovely clean changing rooms, relaxing atmosphere, however be warned there were kids around and they could do with a few more sun loungers and robes when it’s busy. Out of the treatments my facial was definitely the best, but they had a nice selection of colours for the pedicure, you could buy the products if you wanted to, but they didn’t try to flog them to us. Best of all was the restaurant, the food was amazing! Go there for the restaurant alone. I really enjoyed my stay and was sorry to leave! |

Fantastic food, poor room Went for a two night spa break with my husband for our first wedding anniversary. Overall, I was a bit disappointed - whilst the grounds are beautiful and the reception area is very modern, the room was a let-down. It was quite dated, there wasn't a lot of room and the shower was pitiful (no pressure, just a trickle). The extractor fan in the bathroom was not working and neither was the towel warmer, so the whole room was constantly damp. We told the hotel staff and we were fobbed off a number of times. You could also hear everything that was going on in the adjoining rooms - baths being run, sneezes....Having said all of that, the restaurant was fantastic - the food and service were both excellent. The spa was good - lovely pool & sauna, well equiped gym and the treatments were good.I wouldn't go back - the hotel part was just massively over-priced for what you actually get. |

Excellent relaxing stay My boyfriend and I went to the Lythe Hill Hotel and Spa for our anniversary and were extremely happy with our stay. The location is lovely and the rooms themselves are gorgeous. We had a couple of problems on arrival (the shower head fell off) but the on-site manager Steve was fantastic and fixed it immediately and even gave us a bottle of wine as way of apology. The weekend included 2 dinners which was great, some of the best food Ive ever had at a hotel restaurant. All in all an excellent experience and we will be back! |

Great food, poor accommodation This spa/hotel was not as good as others that I have been to. The hotel room was extremely dated and it felt like we were staying in a much lower rated hotel. On the plus side, the restaurant was absolutely amazing - fantastic food, great service and really reasonably priced. The spa was also good, although my husband said his massage wasn't amazing and was over more quickly than it should have been. Overall, I wouldn't really go back although I would definitely go there for dinner if I was in the area. |

Fantastic Mini-Break I booked a spa break to treat the wife to some "her" time, we stayed for 2 nights and she had 3 treatments booked in. The stay was excellent - the staff made us feel welcome, the room was good and there was good surrounding grounds to talk a stroll. My wife was very happy with the treatments and I was happy with the gym and pool.I would recommend a visit and would stay there again. Thanks for making a weekend break a great one. |

Would definitely recommend I would definitely recommend the above spa. It was good value (we had an overnight stay including dinner) and the food was delicious. The grounds were absolutely lovely with wild rabbits everywhere and it was a very relaxing day and evening. |
