I booked a Lovers Pamper Day package for my wife for her birthday.The facilities were very good and the condition of the spa was excellent, however, I wouldn't book the same package again as we thought we would get the treatments in the same room and as this spa doesnt have a double treatment room, we didnt, so it was a bit dissapointing, however, the the staff were first class and the individual treatments we both received were excellent

Our state of the art Fitness studio is equipped with ‘Precor’ equipment. Precor is the world leader in fitness equipment and product innovation.

The hotel serves up a wonderful choice of places to eat and drink – the Windermere Restaurant and Café del Lago Brasserie both overlook the lake. You can take full advantage of England’s longest lake from the hotel’s Watersports Centre, where you can sail, kayak, charter a yacht or motorboat or go for a gentle steamer cruise and absorb the magnificent scenery. There is also a private jetty and slipway from which to launch your own boat.

On arriving at Low Wood it appeared very nice, it looked out over Winderemere. At reception the welcome was not the best, we had to ask what we could do, we had to ask about our lunch, ask about when and where to go for our treatments. Then asked if we had our own towels, which we didn't, which didn't best please them. They were not very forthcoming with information. The changing rooms were in need of renovation and quite small.
