The Low Wood Club runs a wide range of classes to all ages, abilities and interests. Whether you are new to exercise or like to keep yourself fit, circuits to stretch – boxercise to aquafit, spinning to Pilate’s, theirs something to suit everyone, at times that suit you. Our state of the art Fitness studio is equipped with ‘Precor’ equipment. Precor is the world leader in fitness equipment and product innovation.

Local attractions

The hotel serves up a wonderful choice of places to eat and drink – the Windermere Restaurant and Café del Lago Brasserie both overlook the lake. You can take full advantage of England’s longest lake from the hotel’s Watersports Centre, where you can sail, kayak, charter a yacht or motorboat or go for a gentle steamer cruise and absorb the magnificent scenery. There is also a private jetty and slipway from which to launch your own boat.

Loved it! This was my second visit to Low Wood with Spa seekers because I loved it so much the first time and it was good value for money. The setting is amazing (with a view of Lake Windermere from the hot tub and restaurant), the staff were wonderful, the treatments were so relaxing and although I tried, I could not put together an equivalent package for the same price anywhere else in the county (and believe me, I tried!) My only slight criticism is that the corridor to the changing areas let down the generally smart venue. I\'m not sure how it would suit groups either, because they only seem to have two treatment rooms as far as I could see. Overall I would recommend this and will be looking for an excuse to go again someday! Mixed I booked a Lovers Pamper Day package for my wife for her birthday.The facilities were very good and the condition of the spa was excellent, however, I wouldn't book the same package again as we thought we would get the treatments in the same room and as this spa doesnt have a double treatment room, we didnt, so it was a bit dissapointing, however, the the staff were first class and the individual treatments we both received were excellent	Service of staff & quality of treatments Condition of spa and overall cleanliness Overall satisfaction	Guest rating 12/15

We were not impressed On arriving at Low Wood it appeared very nice, it looked out over Winderemere. At reception the welcome was not the best, we had to ask what we could do, we had to ask about our lunch, ask about when and where to go for our treatments. Then asked if we had our own towels, which we didn't, which didn't best please them. They were not very forthcoming with information. The changing rooms were in need of renovation and quite small. Enjoyable day, treatments were too early I attended at Pamperday with two friends in February 2008. The lunch was lovely and the service from the hotel staff was great - it is a shame the quality of service did not extend to the leisure club. As only one therapist was working we had to arrive early in the morning to ensure she had time to fit three 1 hour treatments into one day. The time slot for our first treatment meant that none of the additional facilities were available on arrival. Whilst we did all enjoy the day we did not feel particularly pampered. In addition.
