spa treatments We had a very good day.The food for lunch was average. The staff were very friendly. The closure of the ladies changing room so we had to use the \"gents\" made this part below average if I had to rate it.There was no explanation except workmen in there.Sitting in the reception area in our robes at different times with lots of people(men and women) collecting to go to different activities was not very comfortable.A different area should be offered for pamper clients? The treatments were excellent. |

My Mini Pamper Day My day here was lovely. The staff were very friendly and the gym and the pool area was very clean and had a lovely atmosphere. My treatments (facial, manicure and massage by Christine I think) were of the very best quality and I couldnt have hoped for a better day at the Spa. |

mini pampering day Spa centre was very clean and tidy. Staff were attentive and friendly making our day extremely relaxing and pleasurable. On arrival we were offered refreshments and given towels, robes and slippers. After using the swimming pool etc, our lunch was brought to us on the patio there. Lunch was very good and then we relaxed for a while on the loungers before having the three treatments that we were booked in for. Each treatment was carried out professionally in a very calming atmosphere to the room. After the treatments we were again offered drinks and left to enjoy the rest of our visit. The spa location was perfect and we will most certainly recommend the facilities and staff at this venue. |

Some nice surprises! A group of 4 of us met up at Littlecote House Spa for our regular SPA experience. What a fantastic setting in a beautiful location. We were greeted by enthusiastic and very friendly staff that looked after us very well throughout the day (including extra biscuits which weren\'t part of the package!) The pool area was lovely but let down by tired and outdated changing facilities with nowhere to plug in hair straighteners! The treatment rooms and the therapists were great and the treatments themselves were very relaxing and enjoyable. Overall we had a great day. One word of warning though - this SPA group has a policy not to allow any form of massage to anyone who has had any form of cancer until they have been \"clear\" for 5 years, regardless of what form of cancer or whether/where any surgery took place or where the individual was unaware it would be an issue. |

Friendly, Clean, Relaxing On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. The quality of the treatments was good and the therapist was friendly and professional. I ate lunch in a courtyard next to the Spa which was nice as the weather was lovely. The overall cleanliness of the spa was good although the changing area was a bit tired and could be updated. Overall I enjoyed the spa experience. |

Just right Littlecote House is a beautiful building in a wonderful location. The welcome, tour and explanation of the day\'s format were pitched at the right level - no information overload. Perhaps the additional facilities might have been mentioned, even though these would be at an additional cost. I felt the lounge area for the spa could be improved as it felt more like a public thoroughfare than somewhere to relax completely between times. As it has glass doors opening onto a courtyard it is probably more private during the summer. The changing area for the pool/jacuzzi/sauna could do with an upgrade, although it was adequate. The treatments were good, with no sense of skimping despite the fact that these were scheduled to take a shorter time than a full session.I would certainly return. |

Highly recommended My daughter booked as a treat for my birthday a Mother and Daughter Spa day at Littlecote House, Hungerford. It is the first time I have ever been for a spa and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the massage was wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna and can't wait to be able to go back again some time. I can't recommend it highly enough. |
