Excellent! Would highly recommend this spa. It was everything we were expecting and more. The service was excellent as were the facilities. The food was also top notch! The only downside was that it was so popular, it was difficult to find free loungers in the afternoon. People has claimed loungers by leaving towels and then gone for lunch. Apart from the lounger issue, it was a perfect way to relax for a day. |

Wow, what a day!!! Just like to say our group of eight had the most fantastic day of pampering. The staff was immaculate in their presentation, extremely helpful. We were shown around all the facilities, and given our itinerary for our treatments. What I liked was that we could change our treatment to something else if we wanted to. I wasn’t sure about my pre-booked facial as I have sensitive skin, so was able to change to the hydrobath experience at no extra cost, the food was gorgeous, and my light lunch was a generous serving to say the least. We are now talking about returning next year, as we all enjoyed our day so much, thank you Lion Quays at great day to remember. |

What Bliss What a fantastic experience. I took the opportunity to enjoy a mother and daughter pamper day with my teenage daughter (one off to Uni. giving me the opportunity to par-take in a spot of bonding with the younger one). We had a fantastic day from start to finish the staff were very professional and carried out the treatments with expertise. The facilities were excellent and lunch was a real treat. It really did the trick and we both came away rested relaxed and more tolerant of each other (well at least for the next few days) |

A Lovely place to relax A friend and I visited Lion Quays recently and having not been there before were looking forward to seeing what others had already said about the spa. Our first initial thoughts were that the place was well kept and was in a nice location. The staff was helpful and friendly. The actual facilities were very good and I loved the pool! Some things were not up to speck as you would have expected but overall a very nice day. I enjoyed the sun room although it seemed a little big for its purpose and my only disappointment was the dry flotation room! It was meant to be a relaxing and quiet environment, but unfortunately did not live up to this. I did mention that maybe some quiet music in this area would be helpful? Overall though I would go back again and the massage I received there was excellent. Jan Jeapes was the Massage Therapist. |

Wonderful stay I wanted to commend your staff for the professional way we were looked after during our stay on 6th Feb this year.I had a complaint about the windows being dirty and the veranda being covered in broken red brick. Next time I came into the room the windows were sparkling and the veranda was spotless.It was our wedding anniversary and the staff in the restaurant were marvellous. They put little stars on the table and two helium filled balloons as well.I was watching the staff serve and look after the customers. They were very deferential in their manner and looked after the customers every need.I feel that the management team really need to pass on to the staff what a very good job they are doing. Customer facing staff do not get enough recognition so it is really nice to pass this to you in the hope that you, in turn, pass it on to the staff.Thank you all for a wonderful stay. |

Enjoyable Chris and I would like to thank all those involved in making such an enjoyable evening last Saturday. We had a great time even though the event was moved from the Country Club. I heard tonight that some people were unhappy with the service but we were very pleased with it and our food was very good. There was a delay as we waited for our sweets as there seemed to be some problem in the kitchen. (They didnt have our pre order earlier but that didnt matter). The staff very kindly offered free champagne to all for the delay. Greg Morton was wonderful and many people were dancing to his songs. A special thank you to the compere / dj who was excellent, he had just the right manner and we felt pulled the evening together perfectly. The only constructive criticism we would make is that the waiting on staff (who were very pleasant and efficient) had obviously been told to clear the tables - of everything!! There were lovely red balloons on heart shaped bases and lit candles, creating a lovely atmosphere, but they were whisked away at about 11.30pm despite many people asking why they were being taken away so soon. The reason given was that they were needed for the breakfast tables. It would have been much more preferable for us to enjoy the decoration for the whole of our evening, at very least the candles. However, despite being left bereft of all decorations, the enjoyment of the evening carried on! Thank you once again for an excellent evening. Kindest regards Jean and Chris Hesketh |
