Great relaxing day out
We went on a Mother and Daughter Spa Day at Hanbury Manor and we both had a lovely relaxing time. The only criticism we found was that you couldn't enter the restaurant/bar wearing dressing gowns which we found very inconvenient between treatments/swim/sauna etc. They did provide a lounge with free hot/cold drinks where you could wear the dressing gowns, but I would have liked to go into the restuarant this way too or to have a separate place to be able to have lunch/drink in. We enjoyed the ambience though and the grounds and Manor House were very grand!Would recommend it but take or go in joggers that you can slip in and out of easily.

Hanbury Manor is set in very beautiful grounds so feels very tranquil and relaxing on the approach.Staff were very friendly and informative and the treatments were lovely.Enjoyed the lunch , fantastic food , shame had to get dressed to go for lunch as would have been nice to stay in my robe.The outside area was a bit disappointing , just outside the pool area.There weren`t enough sun beds for people and the garden was a bit overgrown , grass needed cutting and no flowers or colour or anything.Knowing how beautiful the rest of the grounds are thought the spa area outside would be much better.Jacuzzi was out of action on the day for maintenance and the treatment rooms were being updated so had to go to one of the hotel rooms for treatments.I did know this before I booked so wasn`t a major problem , there was some drilling on the day however.It was an ok experience overall but no moreGuest Rating -
