Quiet and tranquil, this lovely little spa is great for a bit of me time on the south coast.
The hotel isn't far from the town centre and the spa is gorgeous.
As well as the usual things you'd expect to find in a spa, the pools, sauna and more, there's a fabulous aromatherapy cave to chill out in, and you won't be disappointed at all with the beauty rooms as there's everything from Jessica nails, Dermalogica, Aromatherapeutics and St Tropez tanning on offer.
You just have to visit the fitness area, too, it's set in a glass house and features 'Barney', the resident banana plant!

In need of a refurb. The hotel had very recently changed it's name to the Hallmark Hotel and is currently undergoing refurbishment. This meant it was very difficult to find. Sadly the spa has not been refurbished. The spa area appeared to be quite old. Tiles were missing on seats in the steam room and the pool area was very dirty - mould on the ceilings and around the edge of the pool. The floor area was very dirty in places too. I understand they are hoping to refurbish the spa next year - the sooner the better. My "light Lunch"" was huge and tasty. This was served in the hotel bar where I felt a little uncomfortable in my white robe! The staff there were excellent as were the treatments - full body massage |
