There is a wide selection of accommodation to choose from and all bedrooms are en-suite, with a bath or shower, tea/coffee making equipment, with colour television with Sky satellite. Bedrooms range from Standard double rooms & twin rooms through to superb Executive Contemporary Suites and Executive Romantic 4 Poster Suites. shame hot tub out of order Staff were very nice and polite but if paying for an hour facial or hour massage it would be nice to have the full hour and not just to lie relaxing for final minutes, but timing of treatments was nice so that we both had them at the same time. Sandwich at lunch time was nice with glass of wine. There was a stale smell at the entrance and the hot tub was out of order as sand or soil was in it which was a shame but the spa area was clean and fresh. |

good value for money The spa was very good; however we paid extra for a manicure which was £24. The manicure was more like a shape and polish, not very good value for money. One of the therapists was a lot better than the other. |

Pleasently surprised Actually this review is for The Manor House & Country Club whose beauticians work from Hall Garth but there is not a drop down for that.The spa and health centre were small and basic but very clean and all staff were really nice and helpful. The sauna and steam rooms were good and the pool and spa bath were lovely albeit small. The best part of the break was actually having the treatments paid for by Spa Seekers vouchers.I had a facial and the next day an Indian Head massage. My husband had a back and shoulder massage also followed by the Indian Head Message.It was by far the best treatments I have ever had and credit has to go to the staff there. My husband also really enjoyed the messages and he too said it was the best he had too. It was his first Indian Head massage and he loved it.Spa Seekers are right to have an affiliation with The Manor House Hotel and Country Club |

excellent treatments, dissappointing showers The treatments were fantastic, I felt totally relaxed after them. The pool area was warm and clean ( there was snow on the ground outside). The only downfall was that the showers were not to a good standard and there was no shampoo. Lunch was in the Stables bar / restaurant but was only accessible by walking outside. |

Lovely treatments - no shampoo! Lovely setting, friendly and easy going. This was my first Pamper experience. Only criticism was that facilities for just sitting in comfort were a bit limited and the shower area was a bit lacking in comfort and facilities - eg there was not shampoo, which I would have expected in a place of this calibre. Meal was lovely and the treatments blissful - would definately go again, but would take my own shampoo! |

Fantastic Day Out My mum and I had a fantastic spa day at the Hallgarth. It was for my mum's 60th and we both really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were all really nice and the facilties were lovely. Would recommend this to anyone who loves to be pampered (and who doesn't...) |
