The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa, winner of Visit Chester & Cheshire’s Large Hotel of the Year 2007, is a beautiful 19th Century building which has been tastefully and expertly extended to incorporate a vast range of facilities and accommodation. This privately owned, 4 star hotel is ideally located just a 5 minute drive from Chester's historic city centre, yet a stone's throw from the border of Wales. Relax in our Roman style swimming pool. Take time to unwind in our Jacuzzi, aromatherapy steam room, and sauna. Alternatively, for the more active, we offer a state of the art Technogym gymnasium and outdoor tennis court. Or why not practice your swing at the 9 hole golf course adjacent to the spa.

Indulge yourself in the luxurious Karma Spa; experience the ultimate and traditional Turkish Hamman, cover yourself in a range of therapeutic coloured muds in our Arabian Rasul, relax in the Waterfall Lounge (additional charges apply). Unwind with a leisurely swim, or for the more energetic have a workout in our gym, play a game of tennis, or why not a game of golf on the course adjacent to the hotel. Visit the all day coffee bar for a morning coffee or afternoon tea. Aside from the hotel facilities, we are the perfect base for exploring the beauty of Wales, Snowdonia and Cheshire, not to mention the famous Roman city of Chester. We have an abundance of local attractions in and around our surrounding area, which include McArthur Glen Designer Outlet, Chester Cathedral, Chester Zoo, Blue Planet Aquarium, Beeston Castle, Castles of North Wales and many other attractions.
Outdoors
The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa is set in its own grounds featuring a beautiful large pond beside which you can relax and enjoy a drink at one of the quaint thatched picnic tables. Alternatively you can relax in our picturesque courtyard. If our gardens don’t tick all the boxes our lush county has more gardens open to the public per head of population than anywhere else in the UK. Many are of international importance; others are modest or even tiny expressions of someone's urge to create a beautiful corner of the landscape. Whether part of an historic estate or simply colourful attractions in their own right, these magnificent bouquets attract thousands of visitors every year. There are many walks nearby with stunning views of the spectacular Cheshire countryside. There are also many other outdoor activities available within close proximity of the hotel, such as golf, fishing, horse ridding, wind surfing, activity trails and more.
Cuisine
Within the hotel there are two dining venues from which you can choose. Ciro’s Brasserie is a magnificent Mediterranean themed restaurant offering modern European cuisine and an excellent selection of fine wines from around the world. In Ciro’s Brasserie you can enjoy fresh seasonal food, homemade, using local produce wherever possible. On a Sunday we serve a traditional roast carvery luncheon and dinner. Alternatively, you may prefer to relax in Nelson’s Bar where you will find a good selection of gastro style bar food and fine traditional ales.

The style of Karma Spa is unique; contemporary yet Eastern, the décor is opulent and exotic. The spa features a traditional Turkish Hamman whereby the treatment is carried out by a genuine and professional Turkish masseur. A further feature is our beautiful Arabian Rasul with starlit ceiling and twin thrones. We also house a luxurious VIP couples suite with hydrotherapy bath and private lounging area.
