Great treatment, terrible food Beautiful outdoor surroundings & the staff and spa treatments were excellent. The let down was the food which was really awful and given that it was a spa day, the very poor quality pork pie seemed rather incongruous. Absolutely perfect Staff in every area of the hotel and spa were all extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them. Slick and very professional service in the lovely dining rooms - all meals were beautiful (had breakfast, lunch and dinner with our package). The treatments in the spa were fabulous, and it was great to have use of the sauna etc. there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with all the other guests - everyone very chatty and obviously enjoying their breaks too. Felt it was great value for the package we had. really didn\'t want to leave at the end of the weekend and I\'m already planning a return visit!Thanks very much to all at Forest Pines for a relaxing, enjoyable and memorable weekend! First Rate Experience I have just had the most relaxing and enjoyable overnight spa break. From the first moment I arrived til the last before leaving all the staff, from the Ma�tre d�h�tel to the housekeepers, where friendly,polite, thoughtfull and very helpful. They really could not have done more. The atmosphere of the whole place seemed to be reflected in the other guests as even they were all freindly and polite too. Something that I found unusual but welcome.The spa facilities were good. The therapists and therapy rooms were excellent. The various restaurants were very comfortable and the food could not be faulted. Everything was delicious. hot and well presented.My room was very clean, comfortable and quiet with everything you would expect from a good hotel. Excellent Service, 5 Star My three friends and I went for a relaxing Spa night, and that is what we got! Although the two 30 minute treatments promised were condensed for two of us into 40 mins in total, and did not last as long as the others', the food and service in the hotel proper were excellent and I am thinking of booking again for myself and my sister as a birthday treat for her. I would respectfully request full attention be given on the Spa treatments themselves this time, as I think we should get our money's worth, but my friends and I are already planning another stay after Christmas 2010!! Mother & Daughter Pamperday We arrived at 10am and decided going in the gym would be a bit too hectic so we opted for a morning in the pool and wet area. We were disappointed that the Jacuzzi was out of action but the pool was lovely and we enjoyed using the sauna and steam room. We had a lovely relaxing morning spending quality time together catching up . Lunch next, we had a wonderful chicken Caesar salad and then dessert sticky toffee pudding/ cheesecake. I would give 10 out of 10 for the lunch.The best bit was to come next, our treatments � back massage, facial and manicure. The girls were very friendly and couldn�t do enough to make it a wonderful, relaxing experience making us feel well and truly pampered.
