Clean, sumptuous, relaxing, professional
I vistied Fives Lakes in january 2010. The surroundings are plush, and tranquil, the perfect setting for a relaxing break. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. The staff were warm, friendly and helpful. My spa experience and treatment left me feeling relaxed, pampered and serene. The only downside I can comment on is that as the venue is also used for coporate events, the dining areas are mixed between spa users in gowns and corporate event attendees in suits, which made us in the gowns a little uncomfortable. Other than that, I would enthusiastically recommend this venue to friends.

Treatments very good.
The treatments at the Spa were very good and the meal that was included was very good. Did not like the Pool and Sauna facilities. This was used by everyone at the hotel and there were lots of children in the pool. There were not enough chairs to sit around the pool and relax. This did not make it a very relaxing morning.

Better than working.
I enjoyed my spaseekers pamperday package. I felt it good value for money, even though this is not a health farm is very relaxing with good leisure facilities. Lunch was delicious even though the service was a little slow. All in all a nice day out - better than going to work!

very impressive
Five lakes itself is very impressive. The spa was well maintained and the therapists were professional. All our treatments were done as soon as we arrived which we were a bit dissappointed with - there was nothing else to really look forward to through out the rest of the day. The swimming pool area was fairly small with a limited ammount of sun loungers - it was also open to children (country club members and wedding guest folk) which is fine if you are not having a relaxing kid free day!!! The food in the buffett restaurant was delicious and we thouroughly enjoyed it. Over all a good spa and we would return.

Fantastic Day Out
My husband purchased a spaseekers pamperday voucher as a Christmas present for me, and myself and my mother booked into Five Lakes for a day of pampering. We were immediately greeted by friendly staff who showed us all the facilities on offer and provided us with luxurious robes, towels and slippers to use during our visit. The treatments were extremely relaxing and well worth the money; due to an administration error the time of one treatment had to be changed, but staff were apologetic and provided us with complimentary Clarins products as way of an apology. Complimentary tea and coffee were also provided throughout the day. The lunch was superb with a huge amount of choice (although we were slightly embarrassed at wearing our robes in the restaurant!) and the pool/sauna/steam room were clean and well maintained. Overall, I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting a relaxing day away from their day to day routine.
