A. The 40 hotel bedrooms are each individual in style, with the designs overseen by the Duchess of Devonshire. The Old House bedrooms are traditionally decorated with four poster beds and traditional decor, whilst the Wharfedale wing bedrooms are modern and striking.

Extremely disappointing! Extremely disappointing and not a patch on the Spa\'s we\'ve previously visited (e.g. Feversham Arms, Helmsley and Easthorpe Hall Holisitic Spa, Mirfield). The Spa is very small and is basically just a hotel pool and gym with a small relaxation area which comprised of a few sofas and tables, tired old magazines and newspapers. We had high expectations of the Spa given the Devonshire Arms has such a good reputation. We were extremely disappointed with the facilities on offer for the money we paid (£150). Our package included lunch - if you can call it that. We were presented with a pre-packed sandwich from the hotel kitchen and a packet of Walkers crisps. We weren\'t even offered a plate!!! Not good at all. My friends therapist swore a few times under her breath. We have since written a compliant letter to the Hotel Manager but received a very dissatisfactory reply. |

Staff friendly relaxing experience I would recommend the Devonshire arms. It\'s calm and friendly atmosphere makes it a wonderful relaxing Spa day. Staff were attentive but not intrusive and were very welcoming. My daughter and I had a lovely day now I have to repeat the experience with my other daughter she has heard all about it so no doubt I will be re-visiting soon. Bernadette |

Amazing experience Wonderful day out for my daughter and me. Helpful staff showed us to the facilities, although the gym was small it had all the usual equipment, some help with how to use this would have made things easier. The pool and Jacuzzi were fantastic. We enjoyed several complimentary cups of coffee from the charming young man on duty. Our lunch was freshly prepared and very tasty, we ordered this prior to our treatments and it was delivered promptly. When it was time for our treatments the beauty therapists came and introduced themselves and directed us to the treatment rooms, these were beautifully appointed, warm and restful. We each had a back massage, a head massage and a facial. These were carried out very professionally and left both of us feeling very relaxed. We then took a shower and dressed in the private locking cubicles. We completed our super experience with a mini manicure and polish and hot chocolate. |

Friendly and Relaxing A really lovely setting for a very relaxing day. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The treatments were wonderful and made us feel very pampered. The facilities were small but had everything necessary. We liked the smaller spa setting as it was more personal and unique, rather than just another chain of hotels. |

Fantastic day! Had a wonderful day with daughter to celebrate her finishing her university degree. Staff very attentive and all of the treatments were wonderful. The spa and facilities were lovely and clean with nice warm robes and towels provided. Lunch included and was very enjoyable. Would recommend spa to anyone, came home feeling very calm and relaxed, looking forward to next visit very soon. |

A haven of relaxation The Devonshire Spa is a haven for complete relaxation. The staff are very welcoming and very friendly. The treatment rooms are most inviting and offer a relaxed ambience for whichever treatment you choose. The treatments are first class and I can guarantee you will leave the spa feeling totally relaxed and very pampered. The beds in the treatment rooms are the best I have come across they are just so comfy. I would confidently recommend the Devonshire Spa to anyone, you won\'t be disappointed and why not treat yourself to an indulgent afternoon tea in the Hotel lounge - it\'s like stepping back in time, a real treat to round off a perfect day. Go on ..... spoil yourself ............... I would! |

superb birthday pressie! My husband bought this day for my birthday. The location is wonderful, the hotel and brasserie made a wonderful addition. Spent an hour or so using the gym and pool facilities which were adequate but rather small. Changing rooms were also small and shower was not good (went hot and cold and rather weak pressure) Space in the leisure pool etc wasn\'t a problem on this day however as there were few other people around and it may have been a good idea to take a friend for company. Lunch was good (chicken ceaser salad and fruit juice) and served in the spa lounge.The treatments began at 2pm and I cannot fault any part of that.l left feeling a million dollars and wishing I could have these treatments every week! Treatment room and facities were good and relaxing.Went for a drink with hubby afterwards in the brasserie (he went walking whilst waiting for me) and we should have stayed for evening meal and possible overnight stay to make the most of the location and trip. |
