Decoro Spa is a beautiful, intimate new spa situated within the stunning grounds of Longhirst Hall. Decoro offers an exclusive experience with all facilities and furnishings seeking to provide a truly British country house environment. The focus is on complete relaxation with all exercise activities offered away from the spa within the main hotel.The Spa & Treatments
All of our treatments are exclusive to the Decoro brand. Products are by Natural Empathy, a small but ambitious and fast growing company based in the North East. Natural Empathy were recently featured in You magazine as one of the top ten up and coming British brands. Essential oils are blended on an individual basis to create completely personal treatments. All therapists are highly qualified with several years experience. The spa itself has been designed in a way that people feel they are entering a homely country house. All furnishing and decor has been based on a William Morris theme. We have beautiful lounge and relaxation areas plus and area where lunches and snacks are served. The 5 treatment rooms are upstairs in the house completely removed from the spa facilities.Fitness

Day guests are able to have lunch and all refreshments served in the spa. In the hotel itself there is The Collingwood Bar which serves top quality bar food featuring local produce. There is also the Boyson Restaurant which offers a more formal dining experience.|

Fantastic, relaxing, refreshing day Outstanding staff, very friendly who made our mother - daughter spa day a fantastic and relaxing day out. We were able to help ourselves to refreshments throughout the day to keep hydrated. The treatments received were of a very high standard and it was the best massage I\'ve had yet! The light lunch, was filling and had a very professional finish and great taste! This spa is not to be missed, it is completely relaxing and totally worth a visit! |

Welcome day of pampering I had some time off between jobs so thought I would treat myself to a spa day. I went for a full day on my own. I had a number of treatments, most of which were done shortly after I arrived giving me the better part of the day to use the facilities. The body scrub, facial, and massage were all very nice. I was given a light lunch and throughout the day and I could help myself to hot and cold beverages. At the end of the day I had a manicure and pedicure. These were disappointing as they were simply a file and polish, no massage, cuticle trimming, etc. I also thought that, especially for full day clients, some snacks would have been nice (fresh fruit maybe) or at least letting people know nothing is available so they could bring their own. Note there is no pool at this spa. I would probably go again, but for a half day, a full day was too long for me. |

Totally relaxing I visited the spa in August and used all the provided facilities. The spa was super clean, and the facilities were great. Everything that was required was provided. I also had the Indian Head Massage which was excellent, totally relaxing in a lovely comfortable room. Decoro great experience I visited Decoro at Longhirst Hall earlier in the month. We both enjoyed our experience immensely. I work in the hospitality industry and was impressed by the professional staff that must be quietly working very hard keeping the place tidy and well organised (removing used cups and glasses, for example, the staff were never seen or heard).By coincidence, the date we\'d booked fell right in the middle of a very stressful time for us both and was a welcome beneficial retreat. We will definitely recommend Decoro to our friends and can’t wait to come back! Keep up the good work. Best wishes |
