Oldfashioned luxury, modern comfort Delightful hotel, old fashioned in style but with all modern comforts. Comfortable, with exquisite food. Hotel and Spa staff were attentive, professional and friendly. Sadly, the Steam Room was out of operation, otherwise it would have been a perfect stay. |

utter luxury I was bought a mini-spa day for my birthday, and went the day afterwards, The hotel was sumptuous, and allowed me to use the chauffeur parking service at the door as I am disabled for a small charge. The Spa was clean and the staff welcoming. There was a choice of swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna to relax in before the booked treatments. The therapist was very experienced and kind especially as I have a low self-image, and do not usually have beauty treatments. After the treatments, I had a fantastic afternoon tea in the hotel lounge bar. A truly wonderful experience. |

A great break Me and my boyfriend wanted a break so decided to do a spa break. We found the De Vere Royal Bath hotel in Bournemouth through SpaSeekers. We arrived at the hotel and had an hour all over body massage which was heaven! The pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were all great and we spent alot of time relaxing there. The steam room was not very steamy and smelt of feet so we did not spend much time in there but there was plenty to keep us amused. The pool is in a lovely bright open area and you can see the sea which was a nice touch. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help with anything. Our package also included dinner and breakfast in the hotel. The food was AMAZING! The wine was quite pricey but we didnt mind as everything else was included in the package. TIP-don\'t park at the hotel as they charge £20 and the car park next door is £14 for 24 hrs. Would definitely recommend!! |

Complete Relaxation After a stressful year my friend and I decided that we needed a day to ourselves, the De Vere offered us lovely surroundings and a fantastic day. We had full access to the pool and gym both of which were clean and well maintained. The food was fantastic, after lunch we were both treated to a full body massage, facial and mani-pedi, all three treatments were perfect and the entire atmosphere made the experience something I fully plan on repeating. |

Great Value We had the Saturday night spa special with a night’s accommodation, dinner and 30 minute Spa treatment. The staff where friendly and pleasant and the Spa was clean and relaxing. I had the body scrub which was lovely and the room was spacious and clean. The evening meal was fantastic lovely food and very professional staff. Our breakfast was amazing choice of hot breakfast and continental the muffins where huge and yummy. A lovely weekend in a beautiful hotel by the sea with a relaxing spa and great food. |

Nice weekend break We were celebrating a friends 40th birthday as a group of 6. The hotel was nice but needs modernising. We went on a Saturday but had to have our treatments on the Sunday as the spa was booked on the Saturday. The treatments we had were all very good and the pool, steam room and sauna were of a good standard and there was a lovely coffee shop in there too which was a nice touch. We had evening meal included in the price which was lovely. Our only complaint was that there was a wedding at the hotel which took over the only open bar and the guests and music were so loud we could not even talk which was a shame as we were there celebrating too. On the whole a great weekend was had by all and it was very good value for money. |
