Absolutly Brilliant Time We arrived about half an hour early, this was not a problem the staff was very welcoming and checked us in. The room was fabulous very comfortable and clean, plenty of towels and complimentary smellies.We used the swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi which were fabulous again nice and clean and no complaints. We ate in the restaurant in the evening a lovely 3 course meal, the food was lovely and plenty of it, the same at breakfast lots of choice and plenty to eat. Overall the Hotel was clean and and comfortable, the staff we engaged with were all friendly and helpful and we would definitely go back. |

Amazing Having just returned from Five Lakes Hotel near Maldon I really can\'t wait to visit again! My room had two double beds and was the best hotel bed that I have ever slept in! In fact I would go as far to say it was even better than my own bed! The Hotel is set in the countryside with fantastic views for miles around. The resort has a huge variety of facilities including a spa and two golf courses. The food was superb and the staff were so polite and welcoming. We stayed on Friday night and went to the hotels Comedy Night which was hilarious, we had a brilliant night then went to the beauty salon for some lush treatments on Saturday. The relaxation room was heaven... two large four poster beds,lots of sofas and bean bags to chill out and of course it would be rude not to take a nap! It really was a lovely weekend away and I would definitely recommend Five Lakes! |

Fantastic, Fun, Relaxing, Energising I booked this as a surprise for my husband\'s 50th birthday. I booked my treatments before the day but I wanted my husband to choose his own, so they helpfully suggested that we booked our treatments in for the afternoon so that my husband could choose when we arrived. We could choose three treatments each and some of them didn\'t appeal to my husband. The receptionist was very helpful and she suggested that he could combine two of his treatments to have a full body massage. He was so pleased. We had a lovely day from beginning to end. It was so relaxing, I wish I could afford to go every week!It was the first time I have ever had a head massage or pedicure and I loved it. It was a great day, the facilities were great, the staff were lovely, the food was really nice and we got to spend some quality time together. It is certainly something I would consider doing again! |

Spa Spectacular The location was conducive to total relaxation, a quiet drive through country roads.The premises was luxurious, inviting and staff throughout the complex were very professional,knowledgeable and welcoming; from the receptionist, waiter, chef to the spa staff.I will definitely be booking to visit in the near future, and hopefully to stay overnight. |

Very Relaxing Day Friendly welcome. Tour of facilities given. All areas clean and tidy. Staff friendly professional and unobtrusive. Treatments excellent but I felt a wider choice could be given for the set pamper days. Buffet lunch provided good food with wide range to choose from. Complementary tea and coffee in spa area. A very relaxing day which I really enjoyed and was a fantastic price. I Plan to visit again soon. Thank you |

What a treat We went on a together day and were greeted with towels, robes and slippers and shown around the spa. We started with a leisurely cup of coffee and a chat, and then wandered down to the pool area. The pool was beautifully lit by the sun and after a short swim we luxuriated in the spa pool. It felt time for a blast in the sauna, followed by another swim - which bought us up to time for the facial. What a pleasure, we were collected by our lovely beauticians who discussed our needs and then gave us the most relaxing facials and head massages and left us for a while to relax with a warming mask. What a treat! Then it was time for the 3 course buffet lunch. My only disappointment was the dining experience, there was not much choice and the food tasted as if it had been sitting there for quite a while. It was also a little embarrassing to be dining with hair that was all over the place! |

Good experience Spa treatments was very good but try to avoid going at the weekend as it does get very busy in both the spa and the pool. The lunch that is included was very good and nothing like I expected as it is a buffet and therefore plenty to eat. We went in August and there seemed to be an infestation of wasps but I am sure that this is just a one off thing. Overall good value for money staff are very friendly and you can hire a robe for a deposit and wear that all day also free tea and coffee in the spa would recommend to a friend for a visit. |
