Lovely relaxing experience My wife and I booked in for a one night spa break at Crewe Hall and it really was a lovely relaxing experience. The staff were really friendly, informative and helpful. The lunch and dinner were really good quality and the spa was fab. We enjoyed the pool, the sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room and I used the excellent facilities in the gym next morning before a cracking breakfast. All in all, a really lovely break and great value for money. Thanks to all at Crewe Hall. |

not what I expected The hotel is historic but other than checking in you are kept well away from the advertised old hotel. They have built a new wing with the spa facilities and rooms which is miles from reception.The lounge area in the main hotel was shut for a private function and therefore other than the cafe bar there was nowhere to sit and relax. The pool was small and the seating round the outside inadequate with a very \"German towel\" culture. The food was good but again served in the modern cafe bar. Lunch and breakfast was of a good quality. The spa treatments were good with knowledgeable staff. It was good value but if you think you are getting the Crewe Hall experience think again you are kept segregated in a very modern facility. |

mother and daughter pamper day My daughter and I had a wonderful day at Crewe Hall to celebrate my 60th Birthday. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The lunch was fabulous and the food tasted fresh and well cooked. The treatments were carried out by friendly, experienced beauty therapists and I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to friends. I would definitely go there again. |

A little expensive The grounds were really lovely, and we would have liked to have had some more time to spend there. The treatments were ok, but timings seemed a little cut short. Some staff were friendly, some not so friendly. Pool/sauna etc, quite average, but clean. Restaurant staff not so friendly and food quite average seemed quite expensive for the level of service |

Incredible Hotel, Poor Spa The spa staff were helpful and friendly. The treatment rooms were beautiful and spotless. The relaxation room was at first relaxing but spoiled by the staff coming in to get water for clients. It was also situated too close to reception (you could hear phone calls and clients being registered). Dimmed lights in this room were turned up when someone wanted to read!!! The treatments were fabulous though. Highly recommended. The spa itself was a bit disappointing. No separate changing rooms, just a free for all. Not good for the privacy minded. Just a swimming pool that also allowed children (not good if you want a relaxing and chilled out adult time). Jacuzzi was small (5 people, 6 at a push if you know the others). Not enough recliners. Sauna and steam room good. 1 shower and a basin full of ice! Would go back to the hotel but not the spa. |

Treatments Excellent I arrived for my treatments 5 minutes early only to be left waiting for 25 minutes so not a great start! It was very busy (Saturday) and there was no room for me to sit in the "relaxation room" so waited in the main reception area which is very small. The treatments themselves (masssage and facial) were very good and relaxing however the pedicure was very uncomfortable as I was asked to sit up on the bed and trying to put your feet in the foot spa placed on the bed is a task in itself!I was expecting 3 full hours of pampering which we had paid for but this was reduced to two and a half hours. All in all would'nt particularly rush back there for any further treatments. |

Lovely hotel poor spa Not great, quite rushed and all in all a poor experience, we were a party of four and we did complain and we were not listened to however the hotel did deduct the price of our treatments that we were not happy with. The staff at the spa were not bothered! |
