overall very relaxing The negatives were not being shown around the spa when we arrived. We were given our robes and that was that, we had to keep asking where every thing was and what we needed to do. The next day we saw another lady being shown around and being told what to do etc. this was the Spa manager who had the day off when we arrived! Surely the receptionist could have done that for us? I have been to and worked in many spas so I was familiar with the kind of surroundings but I could easily see how anyone could have been intimidated. The restaurant had run out of the wine we ordered and the sausages I ordered for breakfast. The treatments were very relaxing and overall we had a lovely time. We would book again. |

a very relaxing break Our stay was for one day and one night.We found all staff in both the hotel and spa to be helpful, efficient, courteous and very friendly. This particularly applied to the spa manageress who was excellent.The treatments and the spa were first class as were the therapists.The hotel was clean and overall it was in good order however parts of the decor looked a little 'tired' aand the snooker table had seen better days. Our room was of a generous size with all the expected amenities but disappointed a little, being one which was essentially set-up as a disabled facility.The hotel meals and sevice were first class and there was nothing to stop us ever wishing to repeat the experience and indeed we probably will. |

It was ok. My husband and I spend two days at the Crabwall Manor Hotel and was booked in for a couple of treatments each. The treatments itself was very good, but we found information beforehand was hugely lacking. We had to asked where everything was, nobody took the time to explain the procedure of the spa to us. I think the staff think everybody that enters their doors knows automatically where everything is. We had to ask where we get gowns, they ran out of slippers, so that was not available at all. Once you asked the staff, they were very helpful. We also found there was no co-orination between the hotel and the spa, you were just left to get on by yourself and to find detail out by yourself.. Will we go there again? Certainly not, I am sure there are spa's in Englan that will let you feel special and spoilt. |

great break- eventually visited as a gift for my parners 30th birthday. on arrival the reception had no record of our booking!!. Fortunately the hotel was quiet and had spare rooms otherwise we would have been on our way home. This was followed by a problem with our spa treatment itenary when I phoned in advance to book treatment times as advised by the booking agent . We booked for 16.30 but when we arrived we were booked in at 14.30 as well as 16.30. Overall the hotel and spa were great and the staff very helpful. |

Good Experience After staff realised and us being told our spa treatment has not been booked, the staff rectified their error very efficiently and rearranged our treatment. After the initial problem it was all smiles........ the treatment was very good, professional and definitely worth it.....the treatment rooms were clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and professional. Lovely relaxing Hotel The overall experience was a lovely stress free day. My friend and I live in different parts of the country and wanted to meet up for a day and catch up in a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, explaining the set up to us and letting us choose our lunch over a free cup of coffee!( One of several we were given during the day!)The spa was very clean with a nice swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. The only drawback was the lack of loungers round the pool. Only 4 but fortunately it was a very quiet day so we had no problem. Might be an issue with a larger group though.The 3 treatments were great and again the staff were really nice. Lunch was also very good.Everyone we met could not have been more helpful. I would definitely go back again. |

Relaxing but a little dated We arrived on a Sunday morning and were allowed to use the facilities before checking in which was appreciated. The only problem was the heated swimming pool wasnt! Fault with the heating system. The rooms were spacious but a little dated but I guess as it is a manor - new trendy decor would look out of place. The meal at night was lovely and staff very helpful. Its situation is ideal for Cheshire Oaks or Golf as both are within minutes.Whilst it was an enjoyable stay i would try somewhere different next time and see how it compares. |
