The Bell Hotel invites you to spend a relaxing break at our charming English coaching inn. It is the ideal base for pleasure with the coast and York within easy distance. Privately owned for virtually all its 280 years, the Bell offers quality and hospitality while remaining firmly part of the local community in which it stands. The Bell Hotel dates from the early 1700's when Driffield was little more than a hamlet and nearby Kilham was the principal market town of the area. At that time the courtyard opened out through an arch to the main street, and the corn exchange was the street leading to the stables where the car park is now.
