Introduction
Walton Hall is a premium hotel set in 65 acres of grounds in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside. Your relaxation starts as you arrive down the tree lined driveway before entering the main Hall with its high ceilings and ornate stained glass window. Girls Spa Dat My friends and I decided to plan a spa day to give us a day away from our new babies. The three of us had experienced Spa days before, so we know what good looks like. Unfortunately, it doesn\'t look like Walton Hall. The reception area looks like a gym not a spa. The changing room, sauna and steam room are old and dated, in no way luxurious. The beauty rooms and relaxation area were ok, but not terribly clean. The treatments were good, although the rooms were freezing cold and there was no hot water. We all ended up with a cold water facial. The beauty staff were friendly. Lunch was AWFUL. Don\'t expect any form of special treatment. You eat within the bar area just off reception and your limited to one course from a poor mini spa menu, plus a soft drink. This is not what I\'d call a spa day, go for treatments, but don\'t bother visiting for a day of luxury. |

Excellent Day My daughter-in-law and I went to Walton Hall for a pamper day which was and excellent experience. The staff were friendly and professional leaving us feeling very pampered. The only criticism I have it that I tried ringing before hand to change our treatment times. I rang about 10 times at different time of the day but the phone was never answered. I gave up in the end and had to re arrange things at my end. |

Could have been better Tried to contact the spa prior to visit, but no-one answered the phone. I left a message saying I expected to arrive at 10am and left my reference number and contact details but no-one contacted me. On arrival (10am) I was advised my session didn\'t start until 2pm! I spent the morning in a very small gym trying to pass the time. The pool was closed which I was aware of, but didn\'t expect the other wet areas to be closed too. The treatments were good, although even after waiting 40 minutes, my nail varnish still hadn\'t dried and smudged on the way home. Really boring day to be honest, found the lady on reception quite bossy and not welcoming at all. |

Spa Day On arrival at the spa it did seem a little unorganised. No one showed us where things were or showed us round, and we weren\'t given bath robes. Lunch was included in our day but we had to ask what the arrangements were, otherwise I think we would have gone without. The rest and relax room was only used as a waiting room for treatments; in other spas we have visited you can use these rooms at any time of the day. There was a coffee machine but we didn\'t find that until the end of the day, perhaps if we were shown round we could have made use of the facilities. The treatments were lovely and made up for a disorganised day. |

Amazing and relaxing The spa was amazing and the staff were lovely, the only problem we had on the day was whilst getting your relaxing massage you can hear the pop music from the gym below and when it came to lunch time it took a while to sort out lunch, as we were told that we should have done it through SpaSeekers, yet when the spa phoned to see if we were still coming on the set date they didn\'t say anything about pre-booking lunch but the problem was solved quickly and lunch was yummy, all in all a good day. |

Relaxing, clean, friendly, scenic I arrived with my two teenage daughters for a relaxing break. The hotel was easy to find, plenty of car parking spaces and we checked in straight away, no hanging around. The room was clean and fresh with bathrobes and slippers. We went out for a walk around the hotel and the scenery is absolutely breath taking; set in the open countryside but with a river close by, sheep in the nearby field and the original Barcelo Walton Hotel with its enchanting chapel. The treatments we had were great, I had a massage and the girl who did my massage (her name was Debbie and she was a temp) was wonderful, she also did my pedicure. Both my girls had facials and manicures and said it was great. The food was nice but, a bit complicated and too fancy for teenagers but we managed to order what we thought was right. Overall, a great weekend for us all and would definitely recommend SpaSeekers to anyone. |

Breathtaking Surroundings with Luxurious Treatments The hotel was very nice, clean and easy to find. The staff were friendly, courteous and always ready to help. I attended with my two teenage daughters and it was their first time at a spa and to have a treatment. They both had a facial and manicure which they thoroughly enjoyed. I had a back massage which was wonderful; I didn\'t want it to end. The food was ok but a bit too fancy, especially for teenagers. The setting of the hotel and surrounding countryside is absolutely breathtaking. A week after our visit we booked another spa day in July at a different location, which we found on SpaSeekers. |
