Friendly & Fabulous Friendly and happy staff make Troon a great place for a relaxing weekend spa break. The accommodation is comfortable and the food is excellent. If you tire of relaxing with spa treatments, a leisurely lunch or a delicious dinner, the Troon waterfront is great place for a walk. An ideal location for those wanting the attractions of a spa and the opportunity to eat and drink well. |

DISAPPOINTING & POOR VALUE FOR MONEY I WAS GIVEN THE DE-LUXE PAMPER DAY AS A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY GIFT BUT OVERALL IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING. THE TREATMENTS WERE IN THE MORNING BUT I FEEL IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER AT THE TIME OF BOOKING TO HAVE BEEN ASKED IF I WAS INTERESTED IN USING THE POOL, JACCUZZI. SAUNA ETC BECAUSE IF SO THE TREATMENTS WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IN THE AFTERNOON AS I WAS TOLD THE SAUNA AND JACCUZZI WOULD AFFECT THE FRESHLY DONE MANICURE AND PEDICURE. AS IT WAS, MY FINGERNAILS STARTED TO SMUDGE BADLY AS SOON AS I WENT FOR LUNCH. IT WAS SO BAD THAT I HAD TO REMOVE THE POLISH AS SOON AS I GOT HOME. FORTUNATELY THE PEDICURE IS OK. THE MASSAGE WAS EXCELLENT BUT I WAS DESPERATE TO HAVE A SHOWER AND REMOVE ALL RESIDUE OF OIL AND PRODUCTS USED ON MY FACE AS SOON AS I GOT HOME. FOR SUCH A PRESTIGIOUS HOTEL, THE LUNCH WAS OF VERY POOR QUALITY. OVERALL, I FEEL QUITE LET DOWN CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT SPENT BY MY FRIEND. |

Fab Girlie Break from the World Cup I stayed at the Marine Hotel in Troon with 3 friends. The hotel is beautiful with fabulous views of the sea and golf course. The staff in the spa was very friendly and yet professional. The facilities were lovely and use of the leisure facilities extended our visit. Between us we had facials, back and neck massages and manicures or pedicures all were carried out faultlessly. Overall we had a great stay and were really impressed by the girls in the spa; they made a good trip great! |

Spa Break Heaven Five of us were booked in for treatments in the spa and use of the pool area. When we arrived we were given complimentary teas and coffees which were completely unexpected but welcome. Treatments were very good especially the back head and neck massage and facial. The other two treatments were a mini manicure and pedicure. There was no soaking of hands and feet and I felt they could have pushed back cuticles etc. No nail varnish then you got better mini manicures and pedicures. Lunch was soup followed by salad which a few of the party were disappointed at but the soup was wonderful and homemade and we had asked for a vegetarian option and they made it especially. The salads were generous but we still ordered some extras like chips and sandwiches. Pool facilities were limited but since we went on a week day it was very quite. Had a lovely time and staff were really nice. |
