amazing experience i had a great day at the spa. The treatments where good and i loved the massage. i took my mum with me and it was a lovely day. The lunch was really tasty and you got a full plate full. hopefully will be returning soon with my sister too. |

Altogether very nice My friend and I stayed here for a girls overnight spa stay. The hotel itself really needs an overhaul as it is very tired and dated. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout the various departments in the hotel. Our evening meal was lovely, service was great considering they had a large wedding party in.The Spa itself is quite small, there is very little room around the pool, which is not really geared towards a long relaxing stay as it was quite claustrophobic and very warm/humid. The treatments were fine and the therapists very friendly, considerate and professional. |

very disappointing The treatments themselves were very good and the staff carrying them out were lovely but as this was supposed to be a relaxing spa day it was a huge disappointment because the ambiance is far from relaxing-not only is the treatment reception next to the gym reception which has loud music playing and is relatively busy, there was a toddler\'s swimming class in progress which meant the pool was sectioned off and the noise level far from peaceful which meant the facilities could not be enjoyed. There was no water available to take in to the pool and sauna area and the lunch rather poor and not helped by having to eat it wearing a bathrobe in the main lounge bar. Such a disappointment and far from what I had imagined spa seekers to be offering-The hotel in my opinion just doesn\'t have the right atmosphere to be offering spa days and I would not waste money ever going back there. |

relaxing, professional, clean, friendly As soon as we arrived we felt welcomed. The staff were all very helpful, the changing rooms and pool area were in good condition. The lunch which was included was of good quality and satisfied us both. The treatment rooms were immaculate, treatments were exceptional. The overall impression was fantastic - I would definitely return again. |

Good value for money My daughters and I really enjoyed our spa hotel break. The staff were really helpful, especially when I got one of our treatment times wrong and had to rearrange. They were in the new part of the hotel and I was in the older part. My single room was a bit small but still comfortable. The £7 lunch allowance has been mentioned so we were ready for this but felt there were plenty of choices for a light lunch we which enjoyed. The fixed price evening meals also offered several choices and were very good. |

Disappointing On the positive side the staff were friendly and the treatments were good. However anyone expecting a relaxing spa atmosphere would be very disappointed. This is really a leisure centre with a gym, pool with a very small poolside area and a couple of separate spa treatment rooms. It has none of the ambience that most people would expect in a really nice spa.At £110 for a day it was very overpriced for what was available. Lunch was ok but you either had to get fully dressed to go up to the hotel or sit in the lounge bar in a robe amongst business people having lunch and meetings - feeling very conspicuous. ! |

Recomended- but take some extra money for lunch I only have one complaint about our visit- when I booked I was told lunch would be included. However, on arrival I was informed that we had £7 only paid towards lunch, but there were only a couple of items under £7. So I offered to pay any outstanding costs for my guests as I had told them that lunch was included. Not a big thing really- the staff were lovely and we really enjoyed our spa days. |

A good treat for mum We took a taxi to our spa day, my mum treating me for my birthday. Thehotel was really lovely and we felt pampered the moment we walked in thedoor. The reception girl was really friendly and made us feel comfortable.We were given slippers, robes and free coffee on arrival. The firsttreatment was not until 11am so we relaxed by the pool. The beautytherapist was lovely, my body massage was great but the facial wasfantastic!! It was a hot sunny day so we enjoyed lunch on the veranda inour bath robes. Lunch was tasty and could be healthy if you wanted it tobe. The only negative was the reception area where we waited between treatments,because it is a gym as well quite few people came through and we felt a bitexposed.I am not sure who enjoyed it the most as at 77 it was my mums first spavisit!Overall, though, it was an excellent day, we enjoyed all our treatmentsgiven by the excellent beauty therapist. |

A special day of luxury I booked this day of relaxation and pampering with the anticipation of having quality time spent with my daughter and for us both to feel pampered and relaxed at the end of the day. The staff were organised and welcoming. We were given robes and towels which was lovely.Our treatments were fantastic. Lunch was excellent in lovely surroundings, however the advert on the website states lunch included, but the fact is that you get £7 towards your lunch so you have to go with the expectation of paying for extras if you want something more substancial. The following day my daughter and I both agreed that the experience had been a good one and that we both felt very relaxed. |
