Not what we were hoping for When we arrived our room was not ready, on website it states 2pm, we were advised it would not be ready until 2.45pm, and our spa treatments were booked for 2.30pm, however after we expressed our concerns, the room was ready for 2pm, although this was by flute, as receptionist had forgotten to call through to ensure room would be ready. The toilet did not flush well, and the shower and little water force, and the hot water struggled to come through, you had to kneel down in the bath to get hot water (problem with pressure of water) No blankets on bed and none in cupboard, had to call down to reception and only one bought up had requested two. Room was cold. Evening meal was disappointment, as wrongly cooked, spa treatments were not up to standard, and pool area had children splashing around so unable to swim laps, steam room had bad odour. |

Clean, friendly but functional We were very impressed by the hotel, and the room and general cleanliness. The bottle of champagne was a real bonus and helped us to relax. The main issue we had was the fact that despite SpaSeekers having booked us in for both treatments on the Sat morning, I rang a week before we were due to go to find out that we weren\'t booked in for any treatments nor had they booked us a table in the restaurant despite booking both 4 months before! We were however booked into the hotel?? They did fit us in for the treatments on the Friday night, but consequently we both found that they were very rushed and not overly relaxing, and having just arrived we were not overly relaxed either. This was a major disappointment of the weekend. The spa was clean, but the changing rooms could be upgraded. The pool is very nice though and warm for relaxing. Food was good, but service a little too posh for us! |

No relaxation room, disappointing Treatments were very, very good indeed but, it was disappointing that there was nowhere comfy to relax between treatments. The corridors outside of the treatment rooms were very busy; doors slamming, loud voices, so hard to relax. In one treatment room next to the gym all you could hear was the pounding of the treadmill. The day was not explained to us upon arrival, so did not really know the format, we had to ask what happened after lunch and was told it was to the value of £10.00 each from the menu. We had to ask for a robe and slippers, slippers had to be fetched from somewhere else as it is not usual to hand out. Changing rooms had a shower and a toilet out of order. Lovely location and hotel; great for a couple of treatments but not what I would consider a spa day. |

Good day out Beautiful surroundings and all the facilities were nice. Its not top luxury but we wanted a relaxing day with time to chat. The treatments were surprisingly good; massage to die for. Extremely good value. The only quibbles were a) we didn’t realise lunch was an allowance of £10 which was not easy on the hotel menu, but we did get a nice posh drink free, coffee on arrival and tea in the afternoon and the food was lovely when it came (we overspent a couple of pounds each) and b) it was a little bit disorganised. We would have appreciated someone to show us round and tell us timings, but they were so friendly and flexible I couldn’t fault anyone. Also, we unfortunately had to change our dates at the last minute and they were great; rescheduling all our treatments (there were 3 of us having 4 treatments). We would all definitely go again; in fact it’s going to be a bi-annual outing. |

Relaxing day, friendly staff We had an enjoyable day, the facilities were clean but a little tired and the relaxation area was not cosy and the food was nothing special. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful and I enjoyed the traatments. |

DISAPPOINTED The hotel was lovely and beauty treatments very good. What did spoil it was we went for an overnight spa break and was put in an annex across a court yard from the hotel; great when going out in the cold and rain in a housecoat and slippers. Also, lots of deep pot holes for us to fall into, which I nearly did. We told the staff we were not satisfied with the room, we had come to chill out in a spa, not catch a cold going back to our room. We did write to the hotel but was told we didn\'t read the small print when booking, would have thought they would have sent some kind of good will gift to compensate. Would advise anyone thinking of going to make sure they are in the main house if going for spa a break. |

Fantastic Spa Break We had a warm welcome from the reception staff and an amazing massage and manicure. Soothing sauna and Jacuzzi, gorgeous 3-course meal, huge king-size bed...or was it the queen which is bigger? We had breakfast in bed with an amazing view over the topiary garden. A swift check-out, what more could you want from a spa break? |

Amazing treatments I booked this day for my mum, sister and I to have a girlie day and we had a lovely time. Billesley Manor is a beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting, but first impressions when we arrived at the spa were not great. The spa reception acts as cafe, gym entrance and relaxation room. We were greeted by a man in gym gear who took our names and asked us to sit. It took 20 minutes and two enquiries before we were given gowns (he\'d gone off to look for them). I would like to have been welcomed with the gowns and given a guided welcome tour by a hospitable member of the team. Once sorted we had a lovely relax and read the papers sat by the pool, enjoyed our lunch at the cafe tables, then started our treatments which, although called ‘Mini’, were very enjoyable, thorough and relaxing. It was a lovely day and good value. The treatment rooms are great, the rest of the spa needs sprucing up. |

Rejuvenated my batteries The receptionist was very welcoming and, although we arrived early and the rooms were not ready, we were able to settle into our surroundings and use the spa facilities immediately. Our room was modern, vey clean and bathroom excellent. The spa is quite small and intimate; it would have been nice if there had been a Jacuzzi. The treatments I received were fine but it was a little noisy so maybe I wasn\'t as relaxed as I could have been. The pool and steam room are in need of some maintenance but this didn\'t detract from my experience. The food was lovely. |
