Nice twixmas chill out day
Booked this as a chill out day in between Christmas and New Year for my 26 year old daughter and myself.I had received a telephone call to check what time we wanted the appointments and whether we would consider having the treatments together. On arrival, we were greeted by the receptionist who took us on a tour of the premises and provided our robes and slippers. The day spa staff hadn't arrived so we got changed first and then went to sort out what times our treatments were.The staff in the day spa seemed rushed off their feet as there were only two of them working that day. We both wanted to add an additional treatment but the staff were unable to help us.....I think this was a bit of bad management on Bannentyne's behalf......The spa staff informed us that my daughters treatment was as 12.15 pm and mine was at 3.45 pm.....I informed them that they had been pre-booked so they were side-by-side but I was informed that they had no knowledge of this.The pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool were pretty standard as to what you would expect. The Relaxation room was heaven......it had 4 HOT beds and 2 water beds....we took books and just lay and chilled. We were told that water and fruit would be available during the day in this room......yes...the water came but we saw no fruit!Lunch was not included in the price but we went to the little cafe and ordered a couple of pannini's which were fine. We plumped for the head, neck and shoulder massage which was great and then had an indian head massage.....Overall we had a lovely chill out day....which is just what we expected for the price.

The staff working for Spa Seekers worked extremely hard to provide the best service appropriate for me and my partner. They worked around me to organise an appropriate date and time for us to visit the spa which i was very impressed with. The facilities were excellent, the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were well looked after and extremely hygienic. The Lovers pamper day package includes a light lunch, this consisted of a sandwich (plain chicken, cheese, or ham - non of which contained salad, we were told we had to pay extra for that!) and a drink which i was quite disappointed in. The spa however was fantastic the staff were lovely and extremely helpful and very skilled. The massage was amazing and manicure lasted a full week, we were spoiled rotten by them and came away feeling wonderfully relaxed. I would definately visit the spa again.Guest Rating
