Introduction
Our facilities consist of a large gym area, two studios, if you wish to do an exercise class whiles you are here, a large heated swimming pool, two saunas, two Jacuzzis and a sunbed. There are also loungers by the pool so you can relax after a swim. There is a lounge area at the front of the venue where you can unwind or have something to eat or drink. The Bannatyne Spa is spacious and welcoming, with comfortable rooms, dim lighting and candle light. The Sensory Spa offers a wide range of treatments from maintenance to pure relaxation. We use one of the main leading British brands "Elemis" and we have also just launched our very own brand of products which are flying off the shelves. Our spa days are perfect for that special treat. We offer a dual room option where two people can have their treatments in the same room at the same time. For those who are looking for an all round experience our Health Club is equipped with state of the art equipment, together with a group exercise programme which boasts Pilates and Body Balance to the more energetic Bodypump and BodyStep. Q. Describe the interiors of your bedrooms or treatment rooms and how they were inspired?
A. The treatment rooms are dimly lit, by candle light, with neutral interiors. The beds are large and comfortable, giving the rooms a sense of warmth and relaxation.

Spa Day, Special Offer This is a health club rather than a spa, so felt a bit self conscious walking round in a robe, and the only lounging area was quite public near the reception. Also, the only food available is a sandwich vending machine. However, the spa treatments we had were lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We could sign up for as many classes as we wanted during the day. The pool and sauna were very nice. We had a two for one offer which was good value; think full price is a bit high. |

Total relaxation I treated my friend and I to the 2 for 1 experience and we loved it so much we joined the club that day. We had a full day using all the equipment in the gym, the pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. We then topped that off with a Swedish back, neck and shoulders massage and a scalp massage. We didn\'t want to leave. I can\'t recommend it enough. The staff were helpful and friendly, the club spotlessly clean and towel, robe and slippers were provided. Go you; won’t regret it. |

Very good, but not great I took my ‘spa virgin’ mother for her birthday this year and she totally loved it; think it may become a regular thing! The staff were fantastic; couldn\'t have been more helpful, very polite and we even had a guided tour beforehand, which I have never had with other spas. Place was very clean and all the facilities were in full working order, again sadly something I\'ve had a problem with at other spas. We had a joint treatment and the therapists were great, taking into account my mum\'s bad shoulder and back and even suggested some exercises along with advising seeking medical attention. The downsides were the food and drink facilities; very limited, and not that easy to go and have a hot drink whilst still in swimming gear. Also, during our treatments, there was an aerobics class next door so the relaxing music in our room was somewhat over shadowed by the heavy drumbeats! Thank you! |

Great day out My mother and I went for a birthday treat for her. We were well looked after, got handed fluffy dressing gowns and towels on the way and given a tour round. We took advantage of the facilities, doing a yoga class, swimming in the pool and using the steam room. After a sandwich for lunch it was off upstairs for the treatments. Being as we were together, we were treated in a twin room and the treatments were done together. The half hour back massage followed by the facial was amazing, and one flowed smoothly into the other. The therapists were excellent and the treatments topped off an excellent day out. |

Therapists very professional I booked Mini Pamper Day for myself and a friend in Dec 08. This included 3 30 min treatments (back massage, head massage and pedicure). the spa facilities (changing rooms, pool, sauna etc) were clean and good quality. The beauty treatments were lovely and the therapists very professional. However there were a number of things though that did detract from our visit. The package was meant to include a \"light lunch\"\" but the Bannatyne\'s facilties only included a very expensive hot drinks machine (over Ł1 per drink) and a chiller cabinet of very unappetizing sandwiches - not what we expected! We ended up going elsewhere for lunch at additional cost. \" |
