Enjoyable day Prior to going I telephoned the spa and found the staff very helpful. On arrival staff not quite so welcoming. Went with low expectations after a recent trip to a very famous spa which was disappointing. Although there were club members particularly in the morning, there were very few other day spa visitors which I liked. Overall a relaxing and enjoyable day. |

Chill out experience As the spa was undergoing some refurbishment the sauna was out of action, however, the steam room was in use which was adequate. The treatments were excellent and staff were friendly. Food was good and not too pricey! Only complaint was that there was no ‘chill out room’, the only place to sit and read was in the bar/food area, not too comfy in ones robes! Will definitely do it again! |

Could\'ve been better The spa itself was nice, very clean and relaxing. However, the facilities weren’t as extensive as other spa\\\'s we have visited in the past. Only a gym, average sized swimming pool, and small steam room and sauna. We had a neck, back and shoulder massage and a head massage. The music in the treatment room was quite loud and not relaxing at all. Also the back massage wasn’t hard enough for us, even though we had said that we had a lot of tension in our shoulders but our shoulders were hardly touched. The cafe was nice enough, but as it was a warm day, the doors were left open to outside and there were ants running into the cafe throughout the whole visit. A lot of the staff in the cafe wasn’t as attentive as they could be. Overall, it was a nice day but not the best spa we\\\'ve ever been to. |

I was especially impressed as I attended the spa with another 9 adults and nothing was too much trouble to arrange. The only thing that I would have liked to have experienced would have been hot and cold rooms. The beauty treatments received were probably the best I have ever experienced. 30th birthday spa day There were 9 of us in our group. We booked the 2 for 1 option (£59). The spa was clean and adequately equipped, staff were polite and the treatments were very relaxing and enjoyable. The restaurant was extremely reasonably priced and of good quality. I spoke with the spa on several occasions, they suggested arriving 15 minutes before treatments and also to wait to book any classes we wished to have on the day. On arrival there was only a single class available which would only have allowed part of the group to attend due to treatments. If we had been informed of class timetabling rather than told to wait till arrival we would have been able to make better use of this inclusive part of the package. All in all, a very enjoyable day. |

Relaxing birthday treat My friend and I spent a very enjoyable and relaxing at Bannatyne’s Solihull. I was ill for a month from mid January to mid February and wanted to relax and spend my birthday on something for me. The staff were very helpful without being obtrusive and we had a lovely day. The facilities were clean and the spa was easy to navigate. The lunch was just right and we finished the day with a superb massage and facial. We can\'t wait to go again and have recommended the experience to several friends. Thank you Bannatyne’s for making my birthday so enjoyable. |

Very relaxing, luxurious surroundings The spa area was very clean and the health club itself was very spacious. The staff and members were all really friendly and welcoming. The treatments were excellent; they use top quality products and the beauty therapist talked through everything. Absolutely brilliant experience When I first arrived at the spa the reception staff were friendly and very helpful. The changing rooms and spa area were both very clean. Treated like a princess My day at the spa was just what I needed. Unfortunately, time was limited (running late) so could only grab a quick Jacuzzi before my treatments. I booked a Pamperday and the staff were great. The beauticians were always asking if I was ok, was I too hot or too cold, did I want to change the music. Lunch took a little longer than expected so was going to get it after last treatment, but they said I could have it at the same time. So there I was having my pedicure eating my baguette…Both my beauticians were amazing, friendly and talking me through the treatments and its benefits, and answered any questions I may have had. I look forward to my next Pamperday, it was just what I needed being a busy working mum, my two year old keeps me on my feet, so it was great to just lie back and relax… |
