Wonderful and relaxing! Took my daughter for a treat for her 18th Birthday, and was made to feel so welcome from the time we arrived to the time we left. All the staff were extrememly helpful and friendly. The facilities are fantastic, the pool area, sauna, steam room are all close to the changing areas. Very well kept and clean. The staff are always checking everywhere to keep the place looking good. The treatments were so relaxing, I had a facial with a shoulder massage, the Beauty therapists were lovely. I nearly fell asleep! If you need somewhere to go just for a few hours this is your place, whether you want to do it alone or with friends its great. The only negative thing I will say is the cafe is lovely but perhaps a wider range of food could be provided. However it was still nice and reasonbly priced. The spa packages are so worth it, I would recommend this to any one , all ages too. |

Relaxed & enjoyable I was celebrating my 40th with a friend & used the beauty salon, went swimming, steam room & sauna. We had lunch in their cafe however that was the only downside, the limited choice in the cafe & I thought that was the only area that may have needed some improvement but overall a very relaxing & enjoyable day especially as we both have small children at home & was in need of a break. Will return in the future & would recommend the spa to my friends. The staff were very polite & we were shown around & was taken good care of during the day. |

Nice way to spend a day Not having been to a spa before, I didn't really know what to expect. Bannantyne's Peterborough was very clean and the facilities were good throughout. The massage treatment we received as part of our 2-4-1 spa day was very enjoyable, and we also made use of the hairdressers, the pool and the sauna. The complimentary robes and slippers were very comfortable! However, it did seem more like a gym with a spa attached as an afterthought. We spent about 4.5 hours there and that was more than enough time. There weren't many places to sit and relax, and the location did leave something to be desired! That said, though, I don't think many places would look particularly pretty in the middle of February, so we didn't lose much by being in an industrial estate in Peterborough. The day was good value for money, and we did get a very nicely discounted haircut too (always worth asking!). |

good and cheap The treatment was brilliant a very good massage but it only lasted just over half an hour. Also there were children in the pool as it was a Sunday that we went so it was very busy, I thought it was just a health spa not a health club. But for 30 pounds each on the offer I would go again! |

Not a true spa experience Took my mum on Mini Pamper Day, and although the staff were polite and Bannatyne\'s was very clean I didn\'t rate it too highly because it was a basically a gym with a beauticians attached to it. Didn\'t wear the robe because the only place you could sit was in the cafe in the main foyer which was open to anyone who was a gym member. The day was supposed to include a light lunch which I was told on arrival was to the value of £5! It could barely cover the cost of a sandwich and a drink; however the cafe manager was fantastic and allowed us some flexibility on that amount. I had two treatments, a back massage and a manicure which were both excellent. My mum had the same however the manicure was done after the massage whilst she was still laying down. Needless to say when she got changed most of the polish got smudged. More suited to people who want to use gym/pool and casual surroundings? |

Great day- really relaxing! I bought a spa day 2-4-1 deal for my Mum\'s birthday but it has taken us ages to go. I had a back neck and shoulder massage as well as a scalp massage and On-the-go manicure. Enjoyed them all and am now planning my next trip! The service we received was excellent. All staff were very helpful and attentive. The overall day was fun as well as relaxing which is exactly what we were all looking for. Overall fantastic day! |
