Enjoyable spa day My son and I visited Bannatynes spa, Milton Keynes and had a most enjoyable day. We found the facilities to be very good and our time was spent relaxing by the pool, in the sauna and steam rooms. We both had a facial and my son had a back massage while I had a pedicure. The therapists were wonderful and put you at ease from the moment they met you in the reception area. My son was a first-timer at spa and is now hooked on massage - thanks to Sian. A blue chip experience. |

My first experience My mum treated me to the spa day just before I returned to University following the Christmas break. It was my first experience at a spa and I have to say that I was knock out by it. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. I can\'t wait for the next one so I\'m keeping my fingers crossed that I win the monthly draw - I am after all a hard-up student! Just go to the spa you\'ll love every minute of it. |

Poor facilities The experience of our spa day was really disappointing and felt that this was a gym with a pool and not an enjoyable or relaxing spa day.The facilities are few, no relaxation rooms to chill out in, poorly laid out, you have to pay for slippers and robes.The treatments were very good and that is the only positive thing I could say about this place, I would not go back again. |

Absolutely brilliant We went as a group for a birthday and the treatment and value for money was outstanding. I will definitely be going back. There were classes we could attend, and it was lovely to sit by a pool and have a choice of saunas and activities as well as a treatment. The only downside was kids were allowed in, and we were having a day away from ours, but I guess that can\'t be helped! |

A lovely day I had a lovely with my friend at the Milton Keynes Spa. Although the outside of the building isn\'t particularly exciting, when we got t the Spa area and walked down through what can only be described as tropical garden, it was amazing. We had booked a mini-spa day, so we each had a massage, a facial and a pedicure, with a light lunch included.All the treatments were great, especially the massage. The staff were very flexible with the booking arrangements, so we arranged for us to both have treatments at the same time, so neither of us was sat waiting for the other. Also, at the end of the day, we had our pedicures together, so we could continue chatting!Overall we agreed it was a great day out and we plan to do it again. |

More functional than tranquil I would describe this as more as a health club than a spa. The communal areas, in particular the pool, were not very relaxing or luxurious. It was just like the pool at my gym. However, we chose this spa based on the price (2 for 1 pamper day deal) and location, and it represented good value for money. My friend and I both enjoyed our treatments and for £30 each it was a fun day out. Just be realistic in your expectations! |

Great pamaper day This was a lovely spa package I bought for a friends 30th birthday. Entering the gym/spa through a mock tropical rainforest made it really special. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the spa treatments were lovely. Only issue I had was the parking situation which was confusing and very expensive. I think it may be helpful to let people know when making the booking so they can ensure they have enough change if they do not want to register with the telephone system. |
