Available for just a delicious pamper day or as part of a longer stay, the ethos of the spa is all about calm, relaxing pampering, so don't expect to be rushed from one treatment room to another.

Aqua Roma spa is part of the Georgian House Hotel, standing in the attractive high street of the pretty, small town of Haslemere on the Surrey, Sussex Hampshire borders. Being part of the hotel adds to the range of facilities providing excellent lunches and the option to stay the night creating a full spa break at competitive prices, especially at Easter and other school holiday times with accommodation discounts available.The Spa & Treatments
Our Spa days and breaks have a less formal, relaxed feel we actually want you to have fun as well as be rejuvenated. The pampering will be taken care of by our experienced staff and the spas facilities will have you relaxed in no time. As you arrive at Aqua Roma you will be welcomed with tea coffee or juice and a friendly chat through the day ahead and a chance to peruse the lunch menu and pre order to your desired time. You will have pre selected your treatments and choice of morning or afternoon this leaves the rest of the day for pure relaxation in the Spa area or more energetically in the well equipped gym, good sized pool and may be an exercise class. We find most guests prefer a bit of both and at least the gym equipment is user friendly. Pampering and treatments choices range from holistic, beauty, health and pure relaxation offering something for every one including Men. All of this is delivered in our relaxed friendly style that has guests returning time again.Fitness
The pool attracts immediate attention, the centre piece of Aqua Roma, a good length for exercise and heated to a welcoming temperature. Pool side is the jet spa for teasing out tension and sauna for clearing the pores and a delightful aromatic steam room. operational break After a my wifes hip operation and a very hectic Christmas with 7 grandchildren plus 10 adults, we decided to take time out to recharge the worn out batteries. In retrospect we should have had longer break as we didn\'t have time to take in all the facilities and the surrounding areas. Perhaps next time. |

Haslemere Heaven Three friends on a 2 night break at the hotel. The Spa was very quiet (Thurs to Sat) and we were treated very well. Staff at Aqua Roma were great - especially Lynette. We each had a couple of treatments - full body massages, pedicures and manicures. The results were really good. The Spa facilities were fine. Overall, the premises/furnishings seemed due for a refurb. but everything was in working order (showers, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi). Lots of soft towels and robes - but no slippers - so remember to pack your own. |

Relaxing, enjoyable stay The staff were fantastic, especially those in the restaurant. The food was also very good. The only let down was the room. Although very comfortable, there was no information regarding the spa or the restaurant e.g. opening times, a menu etc, nor was it given at reception until I requested it. Friendly staff The staff here are lovely and friendly, I arrived for my spa break and had some treatments booked in but wanted some more, there was no availability so one of the therapists agreed to stay later to fit it in for me. I enjoyed the hotel, my room was comfortable and the food was nice. The pool area was fabulous, especially the steam room. The staff throughout the hotel were helpful throughout my stay. I will definitely be going back as soon as I get the chance. |

Excellent value!! I was given a pamper voucher by a friend for my birthday and chose Aqua Roma at the Georgian House Hotel, the day was fantastic, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was perfect; lovely tranquil gardens to relax and read in, a well equipped gym and pool area that was clean and comfortable. I was given the option of lunch in the leisure area or in the restaurant and decided to try out the restaurant; the food was really tasty and there was a wide menu choice, the sticky toffee pudding was a real indulgence but lovely. I would recommend this spa as it has all you need to chill out and is in a good location, on the High Street with easy access to some good shops. |

A good experience Service was very good, could have done with massage being a bit more forceful. On the whole, a very relaxing break. Room basic, but quite acceptable for requirements of just two nights. Apart from just one bad meal, no problems with the food. I am hoping to repeat again next year. I can recommend this spa. |

Not worth the money It was a hotel which had a good sized swimming pool and a lovely Jacuzzi, but after that the facilities were, in my opinion, poor. The treatments were done in a hotel room and although they had the proper massage table and so on it was a bit rubbishy. The girls who did the treatments were lovely. The food was quite poor too. I had very greasy reheated lasagne and my mum had what looked like a reheated fish cake. The area around the pool was a bit grim and once we had finished our treatments we did not feel inclined to stay around and use the facilities. Although we had a nice day it was certainly not worth the money. |

Hen Party Spa Break The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly. For the money it was very good value, as the food was excellent and there was plenty of it, the rooms were nice and we had the restaurant practically to ourselves for the whole evening and following morning. The hotel allowed me to have 18 guests on the spa break, but I think they were unprepared for such a large group. We did have a great time and the pampering was lovely, there are some lovely shops in the high street which is where the hotel is based, so no need to drive anywhere. I would like to take my new husband there for a weekend treat sometime. Also, if you smoke, you can only purchase cigarettes from a pub or the Somerfields off the high street |
