Relaxing pamper day
The Acadeny Spa was a wonderful, relaxing experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the facilities were good. Only bad point was having to share the pool with noisy children due to it also been open to the public. I would recommend the experience to anyone looking for a relaxing pamper day just check the pool timetable first!

I booked a mini pamper day as a birthday treat for my friend. The staff and in particular the receptionist were extremely friendly, helpful and professional throughout our visit. The treatments were lovely (we had a back massage, facial and manicure). We also had use of the gym facilities, swimming pool, sauna etc. The lunch was very nice and we had a drink and a treat later in the afternoon. Be prepared to get dressed to have lunch as you may feel more comfortable. The spa is on the top floor and this is very tranquil and relaxing. However if you wish to use the pool you have to join the every day members of The Academy, which on the day we visited including lots of small children in the morning. Although in the afternoon the pool etc was desserted and much more relaxing. I would not let the children and members put you off visiting though. We had a thoroughly lovely day and would visit again.Guest Rating -

On our spa day we used ALL of the facilities which included the gym, pool, sauna and the spa itself. We also had lunch. Startiing with the gym, it is huge and there is lots of equipment so even though the gym was quite busy it was easy to find free equipment to use. The pool is a good size and clean, as is the sauna and jacuzzi. The spa treatments were excellent, the staff are really knowledgeable about the products used in the spa (Espa) and the treatments were incredibly relaxing (facial and massage). There is a lovely room to relax in in between treatments. I would definitely recommend this spa and would definitely visit again.Guest Rating
