Complete spa experience
The main reason for booking this spa was the 20 metre pool. Unfortunately, as it was a weekend there were lots of children around and no one had thought to rope off a lane for swimming so never got a swim at all! Was disappointed with the hot stone massage - never had one before, but it wasn't as brilliant as I had expected and would have been better with a Swedish style massage. As it was a special birthday treat this was a real shame but may have been due to the therapist's lack of experience possibly. Alison Legg did my manicure and pedicure and was absolutely fantastic. Polish on my toes still intact 2 weeks on and on my hands lasted a whole week! She was utterly charming too - top marks! Scalp massage lovely and facial surpassed expectations - very impressed. I even used the gym which is not like me at all! Spa showers not the cleanest and NO TOWELS available. Hotel fabulous!

Exercise & Activities
Swim in our heated indoor pool or relax in our steam, sauna and spa pool, and soak in the atmosphere. Try our feature shower to ease any tension. For the energetic we have our state of the art Technogym with built in TV screens. Enjoy a gentle work out or book a personalised training session with one of our experts. We offer a variety of classes from Aqua to Yoga style and have a studio dedicated to spinning the group based cycling class.

One of the Local Attractions includes Canterbury Cathedral. This world famous Cathedral has an immense history, from medieval pilgrimages, the murder of Thomas Beckett in 1170 to the last pope visiting in 1982. Folkestone races are always good for a day out. Watch the horses thunder by as you enjoy delicious food and wine at Kent’s only horse racing venue. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, Folkestone is host to over twenty days of racing a year, both Flat and National Hunt. If you like history Heaver Castle and Gardens are a popular attraction to visit. Childhood home to Ann Boleyn, dating back into the splendour of the Tudor court as it is recreated with costume figures, displays and portraits. The Hop Farm at the Kentish Oast Village is set in 400 acres of unspoilt countryside, this once working Hop Farm is one of Kent’s most popular tourist attractions. The spectacular Oast Village provides the perfect setting for a great family day out in the Garden of England. A well deserved break for myself and my husband, it was a treat really for him for his birthday, something he had never done so he was very wary. Massages and facials he says are for woman but that weekend changed his reservations.He loved it so much and has said that he would love to do something like it again. It's nice when you choose the right place to make someone happy and leave them feeling totally satisfied and hungry for more.Guest Rating -
