Hi, I’m Sarah

I’m SpaSeekers residential spa expert. I’ve got a young-at-heart attitude, and I absolutely love to experiment with beauty products and spa treatments.

I love to learn about health, well being, beauty and especially complementary therapies which I find fascinating. I’ve certainly tried a lot of interesting therapies – and I’m trained to Level II in Reiki – but that doesn’t mean I blindly accept everything a therapist tells me. Let’s face it, some of them sound quite bizarre! I’ll try almost anything once though.

I am always visiting new spas and researching the industry but working so hard (and it is work, honest) often leaves me frazzled, so I’m always up for a spa day or spa treatment to relax me. I’m lucky enough to have been to so many fantastic venues across the UK, I have a wealth of spa knowledge that I am going to share with you, and I’m not remotely fazed by new treatments. I definitely am not a supermodel, and I still have the same worries as any other spa-goer so you can sometimes catch me wondering, “does my bum look big in this?”, “will the spa robe fit me?”, or the killer question – “do I really have to wear those paper pants?”

I try to stay healthy, I go to the gym and get in the occasional swim but I’m a long way from being a fitness freak. I’m not too obsessed with celebrities but if someone I really admire confesses to having a particular spa treatment, I could be tempted to give it a go. I also have to confess to a bathroom full of beauty products (much to my partner’s annoyance) and when I can’t make it to a spa I like nothing better than to get the scented candles out, hog the bathroom and pamper myself at home.
