We all need a spa day every now and again, and this modern spa, the Solent Hotel and Spa in Fareham, which has only been open since 2006, is a great place to drop into for a bit of four star pamper time.
The ESPA and Vitaman treatments are all lovely, and cater for pretty much any spa need you might have.
Once you've indulged in a treatment or two you can make the most of the spa - which includes a colour therapy steam room and an optical sauna.
If you want to know what those are, you're just going to have to pay the spa a visit!

Fabulous relaxing day We had a spa experience day for three of us, and had the use of the facilities plus one booked treatment. The facilities were good, pool, Jacuzzi, showers, sauna etc. Our day included a lunch from which there was a good choice and the food was well presented and tasty. Our treatments were undertaken very well and the whole experience was really good. We had a really lovely relaxing day and all agreed that it was worth the time and money! |

brilliant spa lovely experience We booked late for my daughters 21st birthday, there were four of us. The day was wonderfully relaxing, the treatments were amazing. We could not fault the hotel and it\'s facilities and the food was five star quality. We couldn\'t ask for a better way to spend the day for my daughters 21st. Wonderful! |

Perfect Escape day Loved the spa day which i think was very good value for money, we had a whole day to use the facilities, a two course lunch a half hour back neck and shoulder massaged to help with the January blues. It was very relaxing, food was lovely, service great, i couldn’t complain about a thing. |

deliciously refreshing & calming It did feel at first a little strange but we were soon feeling very comfortable due to the fact we were met with smiles the initial meeting which is in my opinion the most important. This is what makes me return to a place or not. Smiles is just another way of saying you’re welcome here, we were told what to expected where to go and what to do. This was kept brief, I didn’t want a long and lengthy introduction... but the staff were always accommodating if we needed to ask questions. The silence was amazing, surprisingly so as they were busy ... but not a voice was raised. It was so lovely to escape the madness of traffic and stress in the outside world.. and that’s how I felt, as if I had walked into another world of total calm, the grounds of the hotel did help, lovely view and one or two deer running around.. Bonus. Our choice of food was lovely. |

Lovely girly day Had a lovely girly day. Received green tea on arrival and was shown round the spa. Had a couple of hours relax by the pool before a yummy lunch. We all had our treatments at the same time. Had a full body massage, was heaven. Had a great relaxing day and will be returning again soon. |

Amazing wonderful relaxing chilled The whole experience from the minute you arrive is wonderful, You are greeted and shown around, if you are lunching, you get to chose your lunch and the treatment you are having (you can add extra treatments if there is availability) then you can do as you like, Change into your swimsuit put on your robe and slippers ( provided for you) put your things into your locker and start to relax, you can swim, sauna, whirlpool, or if you don\'t want to get wet sit/lounge in the lounge have a drink its all free, relax and let the calming atmosphere roll over you and just chill. I have been twice now and told the family if ever they are stuck for birthday etc, send me back for a spa day its so very relaxing, from about 09.30 till 16.00 i can forget the stress and strains of life and be spoilt, i love it, I would recommend a SPA day for anyone who you want to treat to a very special relaxing day. |

Excellent day out Daughter, self and sister went for a birthday treat. The welcome was excellent. The staff were friendly but professional throughout the day, it was a lovely relaxing experience.The provision of robe, slippers and endless towels with plenty of complimentary shower gel, hand cream and soaps made the experience a total pleasure. Treatments available were varied and excellent and advice and explaination of the products used was given freely when asked.The included lunch was very good so much better than expected and enough choice to suit all.The Spas facilities were clean, though the toilets did seem to have a problem flushing on the day of our vist. However overall it was a lovely relaxing day out and exceptional value for money. We all agreed we would return another day in the not too distant future. Thanks to all concerned for a great day & SpaSeekers for making the offer available. |

A Totally Pampered & Relaxing Day My husband and I booked this as a Wedding Anniversary treat. We have two young children so it was fantastic to spend some quality time together. The treat was made all the more special by the fact that we were looked after so well. The day was very well organised and excellent value for money. All our treatments were booked so that we both had them at the same time, and therefore our free time could be spend enjoying each other\'s company around the pool, etc. Lunch was gorgeous! We could not fault our day. We have vowed we will do it again for our next anniversary! |
