Had an excellent morning session. Staff were helpful and friendly, food was delicious and the spa was the best I've been to. The body massage was wonderful and the masseuse very cheerful and pleasant.
For what I consider to be a good value for money, slightly cheaper end of the spectrum spa, Rowhill behaves like a top-end spa. With the luxury of beautiful gardens, rooms catering for all those little touches (dressing tables, luxury natural products, very comfy beds, relaxing ambience) and a very unique spa setting, Rowhill provides everything you could possibly want for a spa break. The spa itself has a very reasonably sized hydrotherapy pool which, in other spas, you normally have to pay for as a separate treatment. The spa itself is set in tranquil, dim lighting within a Roman ruins theme. Dinner is set in a conservatory style room with a delicious range of options you would expect in a good restaurant; the wine options are limited but reasonable all the same. Overall a very good weekend break with friendly service, a good night's sleep and a very relaxing time in the spa.
My spa day was a great experience from beginning to end. I enjoyed two fantastic treatments, a delicious lunch and spent several enjoyable hours relaxing by and around the pools. The spa was spotlessly clean, the staff friendly and polite - and i'll definately be back!
Rowhill Grange is beautful and the spa facilities are very good. I opted for the Mediteranean treatment and it was fabulous - I would definitely recommend it. Lunch was nice although an over-zealous waiter kept taking my plate away before I had finished. I was offered still or sparkling water with my meal only to then see a charge of £3.50 for it appearing on my bill when I "checked out" - which I thought was a little cheeky! My main negative, however, was that there was a pre-wedding party there - about 10 men and women in their mid-20s. They were really noisy and lively which, unfortunately, didn't make for a relaxing time in any of the pools, the jacuzzi or the steam room. There are lots of weddings held at Rowhill so I would strongly suggest that if you're planning to go there on a Friday, you check to see if there is a wedding on the Saturday!
Best spa around! Lovely staff, amazing location - a real little gem. Always busy - a good sign for a spa. It's a real retreat, not a glorified leisure centre. Don't even think about it, book now! and the overnight accommodation and food is out of this world - and all at silly money.Excellent value, beautiful surroundings - you won't be disappointed.
If it’s a tranquil, relaxing retreat that you’re looking for, you’ve found one here at Rowhill Grange Hotel and the sublime Utopia Spa. It’s set into acres of beautiful landscaped gardens in leafy Kent, and the hotel is picturesque in itself, an olde-worlde country house with a welcoming feel and an absolutely darling spa to relax in away from it all. Utopia Spa is there for a day or for a little longer if you need an over-nighter, and it’s won awards too. The food is delicious and the rooms are all individually designed, so there’s no identikit hotel room feel.
The spa here has more than a slight touch of ‘unique' about it, with many signature treatments that you won't find anywhere else. The treatments have names like ‘A brush with heaven' and ‘Windows of the Soul' and are guaranteed to leave you feeling and smelling amazing - the all-natural Temple Spa products are all gorgeously scented and luxurious. There's also a selection of holistic and nail treatments on offer. In addition to the treatments, there's a decadent Roman Bath feel about the spa, with two separate pools to experience, soothing underwater massage beds and an impressive waterfall, relaxing steam and sauna. It's all just too lovely...
Get yourself down to the fitness suite if you fancy a bit of a workout, where there's everything you need for a whole body session, from cardio to strength training. There's also a nice selection of fitness classes if you fancy jumping around to some music, and of course there's the gorgeous heated indoor swimming pool and fantastic landscaped hotel gardens to wander in at your leisure. You might even see the ducks if you're lucky!
You won't be disappointed with the food here - the cuisine lives up to the rest of the spa and when you eat at Rowhill Grange there's a choice of the RG Grill or Elements, both fully stocked with delicious and freshly prepared dishes to tempt your palate. Menus are straight forward, honest and not unnecessarily ‘frilly' - and the views are lovely too with the newly refurbished Terrace Bar offering al fresco dining in style.
