Excellent half day relaxation. Great facilities and a really deep but relaxing massage. Would definitely recommend to others. Slightly disappointed by changing rooms and showers.
Booking through spa seekers was very good and I will definitely book through them again. The facilities at Mercure last drop spa were fantastic. The massage was brilliant. However we had to wait over an hour an half for our afternoon champagne tea. When we went to the reception we overheard of the members of staff moaning about us. Then when we got to the reception and spoke to her, her attitude was disgusting. I am writing a complaint to the hotel as this really did put a dampener on the day
Hotel very dated! But clean. Breakfast good as was evening meal. Staff lovely. Spa was good but treatment average. Very expensive for what is was. Probably wouldn't recommend.
Spa is great, however. Hotel is tired and desperately in need of upgrade. Food very poor and restaurant embarrassing... however we were lucky not to get dripped on from the ceiling like other tables!!! Be prepared to be sat in the awful "overflow" restaurant if there on a Spa package deal!!! No information from staff and we found ourselves asking other guests for instructions/directions. Won't be going back as there are much nicer hotels in the area for less cost!
Lots of nice steam & sauna options and a lovely warm hydro pool with beautiful views. The pool was adequate for a good swim. The beauty spa was a bit disappointing the relax room was noisy. The food was really nice, although it was served on a dirty table. The therapist were lovely but my pedicure was not very through. My husband has a massage which he said was very good. Overall just about worth the money.
