The evening before our visit I rang Hollins Hall to ask if we need to bring towels robes etc and was assured by them that towels robes etc were provided and that we just needed to bring swimsuits in order to use the Spa facilities. We were ten minutes late arriving at Hollins Hall as we got stuck in traffic but I did ring them to let them know we were running late. When we arrived we were directed to the beauty salon, the staff were very nice and both the back massage and facial were lovely, however each treatment lasted only 15 mins and there was nowhere to put our clothes which we had to leave on the floor of the treatment room.Following our pedicure which was really disappointing my friend and I were told by the staff that as we had chosen a dark nail polish which took a long time to dry, we could not put our shoes or socks on for an hour but were offered no alternative.!Our package included lunch but we had to ask what to do as no information was forthcoming, we were given a voucher by the beauty therapist and had to go to the restaurant in our bare feet!!!Our package also included use of the Spa which we tried to do after lunch (still in our bare feet) but yet again were given absolutely no information, we could not access the Spa as entry was via a code, there were no staff members to ask and when we eventually did find a member of staff who gave us the code we had to ask for towels but again were not offered robes or shown how to use any of the facilities. The storage lockers were also coded and we had to ask a customer to show us how to use them. I could go on and on but I won't, suffice to say we were extremely disappointed and left feeling more stressed than when we arrived!. Apart from the staff at the beauty salon and a lady in the restaurant we never spoke to another member of staff and I would not recommend the Spa Facilities at Hollins Hall to anyone or pay them even half of the cost of the day which was extremely disappointing and poor value for money.
