We had access to our luxury room as soon as we arrived which was most helpful. We were then given a short conducted tour of the hotel and spa facilities. During or stay the two treatment “Blissful Back Message” and “Touch of Tranquillity” were wonderful. The Pilates class cleared the mind and the Saltwater Vitality Pool was most enjoyable. All the meals were all delicious and well served. Unfortunately hydrotherapy pool was closed for maintenance, but fortunately, as there were not too many people there, the remaining facilities were adequate. It was a most enjoyable two-day stay.
Back Massage by Dillon was fabulous, Spa facilities good and clean, although no treatment list available to review on arrival (being reprinted apparently) A more proactive service with a "can do" attitude in the catering areas and during direct contact with Spa prior to arrival would have enhanced our experience This was a special celebration which sadly did not live fully live up our expectations. No drinks included other than juice on arrival nor tea coffee after lunch
Having visited the spa before, my friend and I were looking forward to relaxing. We arrived just before 10am. I thought we should have a glass of bucks fizz on arrival but not having details with me thought I must be wrong. We weren't offered our glass so that was quite disappointing. The spa is lovely, unfortunately one of the foot spas wasn't working but everything else was great. We were taken to a different changing room from previously which we found out was the pool changing room. It did get a little busy late morning so went for a coffee in the relax lounge. Both our treatments were fabulous. My friend had the facial which she said was really good and I had the neck, shoulder and back massage which, I have to say was better than I'd previously had elsewhere. Lunch wasn’t included, but we sat in the relax lounge and had a sandwich. All in all, a nice day.
Ever since visiting Hoar Cross Hall 8 years ago it's been my dream to be able to afford to go back, so I was delighted to receive a Spa seekers voucher as I knew exactly where to spend it and they did not disappoint, booking was easily completed in one phone call and a couple of emails. Hoar Cross hall today is every bit the dream spa experience it was 8 years ago, the food is fab, the staff are friendly and helpful, the day is yours to choose what you want to do, which is as much or as little as you like, and there is a lot to choose from, and the treatments are tailored to suit your requests. It's a little on the expensive side in some areas, and good value in others, but even so worth every penny, best spa I have been to, time to start saving again.
Great day with good company and the food was amazing
