Nice but could have been better This was a gift for me & my mom. I had a facial & a back massage, both excellent & Marcia was lovely & really competent. My mom had a facial & manicure, which were also very nice. I was a bit disturbed that the locks had been recently changed on the lockers due to a lot of thefts. Was an uneasy feeling. We were really satisfied with the treatments but the overall day was a bit disappointing as it was disjointed, which was not so good. We spent the morning in the pool area but no one came to see if we wanted anything. I had to get us drinks from upstairs. I was put off the sauna as it was overcrowded & people were eating in there!! At 1pm we had our treatments and then had to get changed to go into the victory pub for lunch. Having to change meant we didn\'t want to go back to the pool. I have experienced better spa days. |

lovely treatments Upon arrival felt we were passed around as they didn\'t seem to know what to do with us. Wasn\'t very clear on how the day could be, there was no explanation as to where to have lunch or what times we needed to go. No guidance as to the use of robes. However we thoroughly enjoyed the treatments we received and the facilities were nice and clean. |

Friendly, attentive staff Enjoyed a luxury pamper day as a birthday gift. Chose the Village Hotel due to previous reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. All the staff I met were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I made use of the toning tables, the well equipped gym and the wonderfully warm swimming pool. All areas were spotlessly clean including the changing room and showers. The low lighting in the treatment room and gentle background music set the scene for a wonderful full body massage and facial. This was my first spa experience and it was thoroughly enjoyable. I would recommend the Village at Dudley to anyone and hope to return again soon. |
