All meals are served in our award winning restaurant and are an indulgent treat. We regret that use of the gym is not permitted on a spa day. Our day spa packages do not include fitness classes or use of the gym, however, our 20-metre swimming pool is great for a few lengths and then relax in the adjacent spa bath. Clarice House has a limited number of individual bedrooms, each with its own name, style and character. As you would expect all bedrooms are en-suite, have tea & coffee making facilities, colour televisions with satellite, hair dryers and telephones. absolutely fantastic My Mum and I really enjoyed the spa day. Treatments we had were full body massage (best Iv ever had) facial, pedicure and manicure. The food was also delicious and of a good quality with great portion sizes. Staff went out of their way to help us and were informative and friendly. Swimming pool area was clean and pool was a good temperature.I would definitely go back and will recommend to friends. |

Will definitely go back Family celebration, we were able to take advantage of 2 for 1 deal and enjoyed two glorious days at Clarice House. The food was the highlight - it is absolutely top class. As far as our treatments were concerned, next time I will increase them to a full hour. Half an hour was just not enough for me. We were totally relaxed at the end of our stay and reluctant to leave. Well done Clarice to the hotel reception, restaurant and spa. |

great time! A lovely time in beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff and an exceptionally nice meal. Only criticisms and very small- some confusions over where to collect our towels, slightly cold for wandering about in wet costumes (but that is as much due to the size of the building), the very uncomfortable sun beds round the pool were all reserved with no one using them. We had a fantastic time and were very sad to leave at the end of the day. |

Truly pampered relaxing esperiencee This was just what I needed after a hectic Christmas, sheer indulgence. The staff were very pleasant, efficient and courteous and respected privacy and dignity at all times and made the experience comfortable. The food was wonderful making the whole package very good value for money too, for a day of sheer indulgence. Just couldn\'t wait to get home to bed to sleep as I was so relaxed. Luckily I had my chauffeur to drive me home! |

Heavenly From the moment I walked through the imposing and elegant front door I entered another world, a world of taste, splendor, and sheer luxurious comfort. When I was introduced to my room and the door opened in front of me, the sight took my breath away, I was lost for words as I took in the sumptuous style and appointment. Meal times offered me a new world of wonderful temptation with a menu that made choice the hardest task I faced during my stay. Watching as other guests received their chosen meals I frequently changed my mind, and the fine quality of the meals I chose was superb. My chosen treatments were sheer bliss, a welcome relief from the stress of my high pressure lifestyle, a wonderful chance to relax and unwind. My only complaint was having to return to normality at the end of my stay. Will I be back? Do you really need to ask, of course I will, I can\'t wait till the day arrives. |

Birthday treat I booked a deluxe spa day quite late for my birthday treat and I was lucky to get the day I wanted. Clarice House at Bury is an impressive building and it was clean and tidy inside. However, it is not well signed off the A134 when coming out of Bury St Edmunds and I almost missed the turning. We arrived at 08.45 and completed our spa forms in the restaurant. The staff were very helpful at all times.My partner, who is male, came with me and although nearly all those attending were female, he did not feel uncomfortable about having the treatments.I was told when I booked it would be busy and it was. Despite the numbers attending the therapists were efficient and took care over the treatments and everything was well organised. The lunch was excellent and we booked back to eat in the restaurant for a Christmas dinner which was also very good. A memorable experience. |
