I decided last minute to find me and my fiancé a spa break and came across the sun offer on spa seekers. When the price came up for both of us to stay with use of the facilities, accommodation, dinner, breakfast and a 30min massage I honestly believed the package would reflect the price and would be average at best. We arrived and was blown away, accommodation was a beautiful log cabin 'with complimentary upgrade to executive suite' and couldn't believe our luck. The bar maid took us to what she described as a better view ' balcony overlooking a stunning lake' Dinner was a 5 course cooked to perfection meal The next morning we had breakfast and there was everything from fruit to eggs Benedict! After this followed a few hours relaxation in the swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room followed by a 30min back neck and shoulder massage! Absolute bliss! Everything was perfect from start to finish. We will most definitely be returning
I treated mum and me to our spa day as it was our Birthdays, we had a lovely day relaxing, swimming, using the spa facilities and having a Massage from Hayley, she is a lovely woman who made sure you were ok throughout. I would definitely book to attend again and we may even do a stopover for the night as well.
This was terrific value for money, especially the quality of the treatment and the food. Both were excellent and the food a gourmet experience. Staff on all fronts were kind, helpful and flexible (we had a prior appointment with family one evening and so missed dinner. They allowed us to eat what we wished from the lunch time bar menu instead) On the down side, although everything was spotless our accommodation was rather dated and in parts poorly equipped with smaller things eg. a hook and soap dish in the shower Log fires were most welcome and added to the warm and welcoming ambience. All in all a brilliant value for money experience, wonderful food and helpful efficient staff, although if you are looking for 5 star accommodation we did not personally find it there.
Had a lovely day at The Chevin, spa day was a present, I had the gym, pool and sauna to my self most of the day. Felt like a celeb! The hot tub is great sat in the sunshine by the lake with the daffodils out. I had a back and shoulder massage, the team in the spa were lovely, friendly, happy and knew what they were doing - sorry girls didn't catch your names. I had lunch in the bar, fabulous salmon salad, spend some time just reading, relaxing and not doing much at all ......... something I thought I wasn't capable of doing - according to my other half will definitely be back, on a day pass and have asked for vouchers again for Birthday, Easter, Anniversaries, Christmas ......
This was a half way retreat to meet with my cousin from up north. We booked the overnight stay to include the 7 course taster menu along with 2x30min pamper treatments. Have to say the staff were all very polite and friendly along with friendliness of the other paying guests I am a connoisseur of massage and have to say the treatments received were excellent. The heated massage bed is definitely a winner. The food was excellent 10/10. We were both looking forward to our day to relax in comfy fluffy slippers and complimentary robes, regrettably no slippers were available and not going prepared with suitable footwear we had to walk around barefooted which was our only complaint and criticism. Would definitely book again and recommend but would take some footwear next time just in case!!
The calm and relaxation is immediately apparent as you drive through the beautiful woodland, to this Scandinavian style hotel set at the top of the Chevin hills above Otley. With open fires, lake views, patios’ a plenty – where better to unwind and treat yourself? You can hire a bicycle, go for a walk along the marked out woodland walks or fish by the side of our lake. You can also use our all weather tennis court, heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and gymnasium. Round off your day with dinner in our AA Rosette Lakeside Restaurant before retiring.
You are guaranteed a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Chevin Country Park Hotel, whether you choose one of their sumptuous rooms or, if you’re in the mood for something a little different, one of the stunning external lodges.
Each of the lodges is in a block of three, and they all have their own private entrances and patios, as well as en suite bathrooms. Sipping a glass of wine on the patio as the sun goes down is one of life’s purest pleasures.
