Lovely relaxing experience I visited Henlow Grange with three other ladies as a Birthday celebration for one of the party. We had tea and coffee on arrival when we filled in a simple registration form. The staff were attentive and the day was relaxed and, although the spa day we had paid for had specific treatments, the staff were very helpful and offered an alternative treatment to one of our party who had a specific health problem. The lunch provided covered hot and cold options and was pleasant and unrushed. One of our party had the fish foot treatment which she enjoyed very much but was an extra cost. We did not feel pressurised to purchase other treatments or cosmetics which was nice. |

Absolutely a DeLuxe experience My experience at Henlow Grange was one that was a treat; relaxing and well worth the visit. As a mum of 2 boys and my husband in Afghanistan, it was what the doctor ordered so to speak, to recharge my batteries, think about myself, and relax without worrying about others. The hotel and its staff were very accommodating. The layout, cleanliness and overall facilities were excellent. My room was comfortable and had everything a girl could need for 24 hours of pampering. The leisure facilities, which to be honest I didn\'t partake in due to wanting to relax, looked like they catered for everyone’s level of fitness. The treatments I had exceeded my expectations and the therapists made you feel relaxed. They explained what they were doing, the advantages and benefits for the particular treatment. Overall, my experience was excellent. |

Didn\'t stay long enough First time doing this but do not expect it to be the last. Spoiled myself after a tiring year working (thought I had retired at least twice) and had a suite (premier guest), very nice indeed. Bowl of fruit each day and bottled water, but bit surprised there was no fridge. Overall the interior was a little too warm for my liking but difficult to keep a big building at a sensible temperature. Spent New Year, and the New Year’s Eve dinner and music were just right and enjoyable making new friends. Swimming pool excellent. Enjoyed the body scrub and scalp massage and the masseuse was excellent but, wasn\\\'t overawed by the thalassotherapy, where the attendant was a bit on the grumpy side. If I go again I will opt for the body scrub each day as it was very relaxing. Meals were good and the staff, though many of them quite young, were very attentive and personable. Well done to the catering manager. |

A relaxing getaway This was my annual \"pamper me\" treat to myself. I have been to Champneys at Henlow several times and love it. The staff are friendly and professional and the treatments are lovely. The whole experience is very relaxing. The food was, as it has always been, excellent. What a treat to be cooked for, and such lovely, tasty food; wholesome breakfasts, variety of salads for lunch and then a three course supper worthy of a restaurant. I could never lose any weight there! The setting of Henlow is lovely; try to get a room overlooking the river. My only grumble would be that some of the facilities are looking a bit tired and could do with a lick of paint, but I think that is in hand as they were working in the pool area when we were there. |
