Fab day after a bad start The day was wonderful in the end and the treatments were all good. The best part is the lovely Jacuzzi and steam rooms. Although it was a very bad start. We were left sitting in the area with the relaxing beds, fully dressed with all our bags and coats for over an hour. We even chased up when we were going to be shown through to the changing rooms. In the end as everyone were in their robes we decided to find them ourselves and put our things away. We had to chase yet again once we were changed. Each time we were told someone would come and get us and show us around. After waiting for about an hour and forty minutes I asked someone else that happened to walk in from the main reception who went and spoke to the team. We were initially told we would need to wait again to have a tour with everyone once they had finished their treatments. This part seemed crazy, also considering we found the changing room ourselves. In the end as I complained they got someone to show the three of us around, without waiting for anyone else. We then ate and started to relax. Really bad start to the day, clearly short staffed. Also if it had been explained at the beginning that we would have to wait we could have done something different. Badly organized but after the bad start, the place, food and experience we had was lovely. I would still go back but probably not on a Saturday which is the day we went, maybe they get too busy to be able to handle everyone in at the same time, and like us then get forgotten. My mum enjoyed it which was the main thing as this was a treat for her. |

Friendly,relaxing,informal spa treatments A very enjoyable spa experience. We were greeted by friendly staff, and given a tour of the facilities. We received a \'laundry bag\' containing towel, robe and soft flipflops for the small fee of £4/person. Our treatments consisted of a back, neck and shoulder massage, followed by a refreshing facial, and relaxation on warmed loungers. The staff were friendly and professional throughout. We enjoyed a light lunch before heading to the amazing underground candlelit pool, steam-room and Jacuzzi - surrounded by rattan loungers. A quick shower rounded off a lovely birthday treat. Booking the spa day was made easy online and the voucher and information were easily downloaded. The laundry bag was a good idea - and you get to keep the flipflops! However the robes are one size only and could do with being multisized - especially after showering & returning to changing room via the gym area. Fab |

Great Day I booked the time for two experience for my boyfriends birthday and we went on a bank holiday, it was a lovely day out and the treatments were amazing I thought for the price it would be rushed but it wasnt. The staff were helpful and friendly and we used all the facilities. Some reviews had said it felt more like a gym with a spa attached but I disagree the swimining pool and hot-tub were much bigger than most spas I have been too. All in all we have a great day and would definatly return! |

Fab place & great value! We were really impressed with our spa day at Bannatyne Fairfield\'s. The underground pool was stunning with the low lighting and relaxing ambience. My only negative point was that there wasn\'t anywhere to get a drink of water from down there so try and remember to take some with you. The treatment was amazing and even if you have not booked a treatment you must visit the spa as the area and the heated loungers are amazing. We will definitely return. |

A haven of tranquility I arrived at Fairfield feeling frazzled and stressed (normal for a working mum), I left feeling like a new woman. I had booked a luxury spa day and definitely needed it! Highlights:The scented steam room with twinkly lights in the ceiling; The candle lit Jacuzzi and swimming pool; lying down on a heated lounger with my kindle and not a care in the world; the marvellous back, neck and shoulder massage that released some of the muscle damage in my shoulders; the heavenly elemis facial (especially the hot exfoliating gloves!)I would have used the gym (honest) but couldn\'t get my trainers on due to a broken toe. Thank you spa seekers for giving me some much needed \'me\' time and a chance to be pampered. |
