Nice! Went with mum and a friend in August for a girlie spa day. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we stepped through the door. They really made us feel at home and pampered. The wet spa facilities are really excellent: you will end up spending most of the time you aren\'t having treatments testing out the several saunas and steam rooms, jacuzzis, plunge pool, solarium. The massage and facial were as good as any I\'ve had - therapist knew her stuff. Was a bit worried it would be over-run with children etc. because it was a Saturday in the school holidays, but was fine: in any case you can go and eat lunch in the provate lounge which is very peaceful and child-free. It\'s not what I\'d call a bargain, but it\'s a very pleasant way to spend a day with very very good facilities. |

Excellent experience The facilities were excellent and my pamper day was very enjoyable. I was the only one on a pamper day on the day I went. Staff was friendly, filling in the paperwork went smoothly and I was carefully shown round the facilities. These were comprehensive - loads of Jacuzzis of different strengths, with jets to stand in too, which I enjoyed. My only slightly adverse comment would be that the wet facilities were quite full for most of the day with people who are there as normal members of the David Lloyd club, where the spa is located, so that that section was fairly busy - but not overwhelmingly so. Overall, I would recommend it highly. |

NICE BUT COULD BE BETTER Lovers pamper day.I enjoyed it, but will probably go elsewhere next time.I was not too impressed by the service we have received at the beginning of the day. We have arrived 9.50am and were kept waiting untill 10.20am and despite asking twice the reception what were we waiting for [our day supose to start at 10.00] we have not received any explanation nor an apology, just the statement 'someone from the spa will be with you shortly' . When a 'spa lady' finally arrived half an hour later, she did not apologise for the delay either, which I found extremely unprofessional. The day got better tho, mostly thanks to the quality of the treatments and the staff who had performed it. Wet spa area was nice, but nothing amazing, lunch was tasty,place is a very busy sport centre, so would look for a SPA only next time - lots of loud children around,which is not gd if you are looking for a quiet time |

Great Treatments poor experience The treatments and the Spa staff were amazing and I couldn't fault them. However the servcie when we got there was appalling it took an hour to get simple tea and coffee.The lunch took forever and we had to chase them.That really spoilt the day and it was just far too busy. |
